Whalen Mortgages was referred to us by my realtor and I am so glad I made the call. I asked what made them different and she said it was just the kind of people they were. Being skeptical I put the name on the back burner.

When it was time to get into the market and I was told by the bank my husbands income (commission based) was not going to be eligible I went into a tizzy and asked if that was actually the case. My realtor told me to contact Whalen and I got connected with Crystal right away (on a Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm). She was so helpful in answering all of my questions, and really got a grasp of all the moving parts of our financial situation.

Crystal, was friendly, helpful and had exceptional communication with us, always easily available. Wait times were almost nonexistent to hear back from her, and I know she went above and beyond for us getting us the best rate for our circumstances.

I could go on and on, but for brevity she gets a 10/10 for being personable - informative and working extremely hard against and insanely tight finance condition timeline.

We’re in a 2 year term currently and I look forward to that maturing and connecting with her again for the next

THEY WORK MIRACLES!! My family and I moved from swift current to fort mcmurray for work and we needed a house badly.

My credit was bad and I didn't have very much for a deposit. My work schedule was 14/7 but was stuck on all day shifts and had no time for bank appointments.

Somehow; with extensive work from their end, they managed to secure a mortgage for me and my family.

I didn’t Think this day would come but thanks to Crystal she made it all happen and made it as painless as possible..
We had a lot of thing to clean up last year and followed all the advice they gave us and got to work.

We just used Whalen for our house purchase. They were able to get us pre-approved for the amount we needed at a low rate. Also Deeqa was exceptional at answering my dumb questions when I was stressing about things.
