They did a great job, explained what they were going to do for sealing the area with foam. Then added additional insulation to get the R value. Tested for air leaks before and after by putting the house into a vacuum with a door fan. Improvement was around 30% after sealing the attic and adding insulation. Cleaned up when done, the crew was very professional. Highly recommend

I had four different companies -- the four with the highest reviews in the Twin Cities metro area -- come out to give me an estimate to have my attic and rim-joist cavities insulated. I worked extensively with Don who stood out for his deep knowledge -- mastery, I would even say -- of insulation and building science, for his professionalism, and for his passion. He was more than willing to patiently and clearly answer my many, many questions -- and he never once put any pressure on me. Indeed, of the four companies I interacted with, two of them basically sent salesmen to my house. RetroGreen sent Don who provided me with information, gave me options, answered my questions, and let me move at my pace and make my own decisions. The estimate I was given was detailed, precise, and very competitive. I would definitely recommend working with this company from the perspective of honesty, quality, and value.

I had their foam wall insulation inserted to my exterior walls from inside the house, and through my stucco exterior for my bathroom. They made it work with my house and needs.

Exceptional crew, very keen on keeping me informed throughout the wall insulation process. Job site spotless when they finished, siding returned to the walls without any sign they had ever been off. They didultiple heat scans of the walls to make sure the job was complete. Full blower test showed a huge improvement from previous air loss after the job was done. Noticeable noise reduction is a plus. We are very happy with the crew, the office staff and sales who all really know their stuff. Price as expected with no surprises. Retro Green Energy was amazing to work with! We did retro foam in our exterior walls, as well as 2 interior walls. I already notice a significant difference for both temperature and sound! Had foam insulation installed in virtually all my house in April & May, 2025. My project took a little longer as we ran into a couple of glitches. House was cooler this summer and am looking forward to a warmer winter. Noises from outside has definitely been muffled (i.e. traffic noises, noises from storms) Crew was courteous and helpful. Would do work with them again if the need arises.

Retro Green has been the best insulation company! Oren is amazing with his attention to detail and thorough inspection. He was able to find all the issues with the insulation in my house and quoted a reasonable price. Nick and Crew came out to install the foam insulation into my slanted ceilings and fix a bath fan. They were respectful and hard working. Nick showed pictures of their work afterwards. Overall, was the best experience I have had with any contractor. I have had many! Thank you for being a trustworthy company.

I had RetroGreen do the insulation in my attic and walls. I can already feel the difference with cooling and I have less humidity.
The installation crew was top notch. All so professional, kind and informative. The cleanup job they did left my attic space and stairs cleaner than when they started.
I couldn’t tell where they removed the siding for wall insulation. They were careful working around the garden and flower bed areas. Couldn’t tell they had been there!
I would recommend this company for insulation.
I am looking forward to lower heat bills this winter.

These guys were great. Sales/quote was very thorough and informative, good communication and follow-through on rebate applications. As for install, the crew of 4 or 5 worked well together, showed up on time, answered my questions, knocked out my retrofoam install in 6 or 7 hours, did a respectable job cleaning up afterward, and I can't even tell which pieces of siding they removed.

We hired Retrogreen Energy to complete a retro installation of foam insulation in our existing walls. We have an old house with orignal newspaper insulation that was just not cutting it to keep us warm in MN winters.

The consultation and installation process went very smoothly. The company took care of the available rebate paperwork which was great

The crew completing the installation was very professional and communicated well with me throughout the day. It took just over half a day to complete the work from arrival to completed cleanup. We have cedar shakes as siding, and after the installation, we could hardly tell the work had been done.
