Viking provided excellent service from start to finish. Their team was professional, skilled, and delivered high-quality work installing roofing, siding, soffits, and gutters, including necessary repairs to hidden underlying damage.
Mariano handled the finishing touches with care, and Ed’s experience and attention to detail truly set Viking apart. The entire team was responsive, considerate, and easy to work with throughout the project.

I had a few shingles blow off during a thunder storm. I contacted 8 companies including Viking Exteriors. I got a quote from 4 companies (the others never responded) with a very large price range. In talking with with the 4 companies, I felt most comfortable with Viking Exteriors. The price was reasonable and they came out the next day and fixed the roof. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Ed and his crew repaired the hole in my garage wall, including structural damage, caused by a car driving through the garage wall. Once I gave Viking the go ahead Ed was in the job. He did an excellent job coordinating with the insurance company, as well as with my plumber and electrician, as the gas and electric meters and gas pipe were knocked out in the collision. He did what he could to work through the cold weather whenever possible. This was mainly an issue with the stucco and painting. Ed also coordinated township inspections and addressed any concerns immediately. Highly recommended! Looking forward to having garage floor epoxy painted in the Spring.

Mostly, this is to remind most of you that our men's breakfast is on Monday, December 1.
I also want to tell you about my big reason for thanks this Thanksgiving. Some of you know parts of this: On late Monday afternoon, a nice man who had been leafblowing on my roof came to the front door with a photo of a big hole in my roof where the vent cover of our exhaust fan had been. I emailed Eddy Cruz, and he e-mailed Kim, our new MRH rep, asking her to tell me that MRH doesn't pay for this repair and to let me know I was on my own. Terry kindly dropped me by Kim's office on Tuesday morning, where I learned that indeed I was on my own in getting this repaired. When I asked, Kim kindly suggested asking the dryer vent cleaning guys and gave me the name and number of a siding company they had used (Edge One).
I tried Sal, the dryer vent folks, and they replied that they didn't do any second-story work, so I left a message on the voicemail of Edge One later on Tuesday. They never returned my call (maybe the number was wrong?). So by Wednesday, I was getting frantic since rain was still in the forecast after the storm Tuesday night. Terry had given me the name of Michael Arms, but before i called him, I remembered talking last year to Edward Herbst, when he was senior manager at Chew Bittel, when they were doing our roofs bsck then..
Ed had given me his card, so I called him up, and he was SO responsive. He jumped on my problem right away and was appropriately sympathetic. Within a few hours, he had a guy with an extension ladder (Melvin) up on my roof, and Melvin sent Ed and me a photo of what was there and what wasn't. Ed phoned me immediately and explained the vent covers don't come separately but are part of the whole unit that includes the fan motor and the blades (that were clearly mangled in the photo). By the time the call ended, we had reached a deal for a new exhausting unit. Even though it was late on Thanksgiving Even, Ed went and bought it himself, and Melvin came to install it today (Saturday). Seems to work fine.
Anyway, I am sincerely and grandly GRATEFUL to ED, who responded in a way we all should love and respect--and REMEMBER: There are still good ones out there!

We experienced water intrusion in our attic ceiling whenever rain came from the Southeast. Ed from Viking Exteriors, LLC was able to accurately trace the source of the leak to the intersection of the siding and stucco. After installing housewrap and adding proper flashing, we made it through the recent Noreaster completely dry. Exceptional work and highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Viking Exteriors to anyone that is need of home repair. Everyone that was involved in this process, be it the owner, Mike, the Manager, Ed and all the workers performed with an outstanding level of expertise, caring and hard work. They work in the interest of the client and always respond promptly to any question or concern that you present. You can totally trust that they will always do the correct thing, which is very rare to find in this world. I personally thank you for the great job that you did on my house.

After a tornado hit our home, Ed and his team responded the next day to secure it. They later replaced the roof, added a metal accent roof, upgraded our windows, enclosed an open area under the house, and transformed the exterior with James Hardie siding and Azek trim. One special request was to remove our old spiral stairs and build a new outdoor stairwell connecting the decks to the patio—They delivered with great ideas and flawless execution.
Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. Highly recommend!

After a tornado hit our house, a friend recommended contacting Ed Herbst of Viking Exteriors. He had a crew out first thing in the morning, making structure repairs and making the house watertight so no more damage occurred. Throughout the process, Ed’s accessibility was unlike any I’ve ever experienced with any contractor. The longest I had to wait for a response was maybe an hour. He had a wealth of knowledge and dealt with insurance every step of the way which was a huge help. Repairs were a new roof, all new siding, structural repairs and a full masonry chimney rebuild. I could not be happier with the quality and timeliness of the work.

Viking Exteriors made our roof replacement seamless! Ed Herbst and team guided us through shingle and metal roof options, even bringing samples to ensure we made the right choice. He also suggested snow guards for both function and style. While they were here, we decided to upgrade our 40-year-old gutters and downspouts, and the results were fantastic. Their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding—highly recommend!
