Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of neonatology, palliative care, communication, and underserved populations, particularly Spanish-speaking patients and families. She has experience with program-building, qualitative research methodology, and communication skills training. Dr. Muñoz-Blanco graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatrics residency training at New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Medical Center.
