He serves as the Director of Urology at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. His clinical and research interests are in male and female urinary incontinence, complex voiding dysfunction and pelvic genitourinary reconstructive surgery. His expertise is focused on restoring functionality to the lower urinary tract. His passion for Johns Hopkins is grounded in the culture of discovery and problem solving that leverages all the resources Johns Hopkins has to offer. Dr. Wright earned his M.D. from The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in New Hampshire. He completed his residency in urology at The New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in the City of New York and performed a fellowship in Reconstructive and Neurourology at the Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Mid-Atlantic Section of American Urologic Association as well as the Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery Society and the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology. He is a member of the distinguished Miller-Coulson Academy for Clinical Excellence at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Read more
