Initial sale was fine, but after that things were not ideal. I was contacted to fill a last minute vacancy in their schedule, and then proceeded to have the installation delayed every day for 4 days due to illness. Scheduler never reached out, leaving the burden of communication to the sick installer each morning. The delay pushed installation into the weekend, leaving my home in disarray for a week instead of 2 days. Additionally, I was not informed that the installers would work on every window simultaneously, which meant there was no place to retreat to in the house.

Regarding the quality of the work, I had several concerns that I had to go to the owner of the company regarding.

- Cleanliness: Sills were not cleaned before caulking, leaving debris and pet hair trapped in the finish. The owner said there was nothing to be done because of the cat tree (which was only next to 1 window).
- Finishing: Most brad nail holes were left uncaulked, and the few that were addressed were done poorly. Owner did not address this.
- Damage: The master bedroom window hole was overcut. The owner said that "overcutting happens" and that we would have to spackle it ourselves. Nowhere in my contract was this possible damage listed, and if it's such a common occurrence, I feel the installers should be prepared to mitigate it.
-Inconsistent caulking: Caulking was applied to where the trim meets the walls on 2 windows only. Owner said it was done to "hide the paint line" but it only drew more attention to the paint line, as it was not cleaning or consistently done (and completely omitted in the other bedroom).

I requested a credit from the owner due to the scheduling inconvenience and poor workmanship, and this was a significant purchase (over $20,000). The owner gave my partner $200 cash and a tube of the "special" caulk they use to fix the issues (caulk can be bought at Lowe's for $11). This felt like a slap in the face, and the owner did not respond to my follow-up email. Overall, very dissatisfied by their customer service and willingness to rectify issues. Would not recommend.

We recently, in mid-February, had all of our windows and sliding doors replaced on our 3rd floor condo using The Window Source of Western Michigan. We couldn't be happier with their service and pricing.

We had Adam do our initial measurements, color matching, and pricing. Joe and Andrew did our installation. Everyone that we worked with was very courteous and professional. They were happy to take time to explain anything we asked about the process and the window operation. They laid down tarps each day to ensure that they didn't create any mess and pulled them up when they were finished for the day so that everything looked nice.

Being a 3rd story unit on a steep hill overlooking a river, Joe and Andrew needed to reach windows approximately 40' above the ground. They managed this without issue even though there is limited access to that side of the building and there was a couple of feet of snow on the ground.

The windows are very high quality and open and close easily. All of our drafts have disapeared.

I would highly recommend the company and crew to anyone looking for window or sliding door installations in their service area.

Ten out of ten stars, both Aaron Boysen the owner, and Adam Fewins the contractor Also Every1 that installed them was Incredible! It's rare to find a company that is this passionate about what they do. So it shows in their work! Speed and quality together.

Besides great windows you cannot beat the great service! No more drafts! No more icy windows in January! Joe and Andrew are stellar workers. Everything was cleaned up perfectly! We recently had some of our windows done at our home and are extremely happy with the Window Source. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and helpful from the Adam the salesman and installers to the owner. Always quick to respond to questions and accommodating to our schedule. The windows look fantastic and noticeably better than our other windows. We really recommend checking them out. We are very happy with both the company and the windows. And if we ever need to replace more of our old windows we would gladly go back to them.

Window Source

I have a summer cottage with 60 year old single pane windows badly in need of replacing. I am thrilled with Window Source and the excellent service I experienced.

When Aaron showed up to give my estimate I happened to be struggling with pulling a sailboat out at my property. Imagine my amazement when he took off his shoes and just pitched in and helped. Wow! Then he explained throughly the windows and process to me.

David his scheduler was amazing too, keeping me on track with when the windows due in and helping me with questions and concerns.

Steve the installer was awesome and worked so efficiently and smoothly. I was amazed how fast he could do the windows. He didn't get upset when I wanted to ask questions or observe the foam insulation process on a window, and explained the process.

All were respectful of COVID and donned masks respectfully without having to ask them. Even in these uncertain times do not be afraid to let this awesome company help beautify your homes. Look for yourselves at my before and after pictures.
