My son recently attended this introductory aviation class, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The pilot instructor was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain concepts in detail, answered every question thoroughly, and made my son feel comfortable and engaged throughout the lesson. His passion for aviation was evident, and his ability to teach complex topics in a clear and encouraging way made a lasting impression. This was an excellent introduction to flying, and it further inspired my son's interest in aviation. We highly recommend!

My 15-year-old son did his discovery flight with 30 day CFI recently. He’s been showing interest in becoming a pilot. We had a great time, the operation is clean and professional, the aircraft were in perfect condition. Sevak made us both feel very comfortable. He let my son take control of the plane at certain points during the flight. It was quite a positive and impactful experience for my son. They gave him a certificate of completion for his initial flight, and included a logbook to record his first training flight. I would feel very comfortable having them train my son in the future. And thank you, Jack for the excellent customer service!

I recently visited 30 Day CFI Flight Training Academy, and I was honestly blown away. From the moment I walked in, I was given an incredible amount of information and clarity about the training process. The instructors truly know their stuff and are clearly passionate about aviation and teaching — you can tell they’ve been there and done it.

The aircraft are new, clean, and very well maintained, which says a lot about how seriously they take safety and professionalism. On top of that, the classroom environment is modern, organized, and actually enjoyable to learn in.

I’ve been obsessed with airplanes for as long as I can remember, but I never had the chance to actually fly one until I found 30 Day CFI in Van Nuys. Booking a discovery flight with them felt like finally taking the step I’ve wanted to take my whole life.

We started with about thirty minutes of ground briefing. My instructor broke everything down in a simple, relaxed way and made me feel confident before we even walked out to the airplane. Once we took off, it hit me that I was really doing this. We flew a scenic loop over Los Angeles, and the view from the cockpit was unbelievable.

At one point my instructor asked if I was on a time crunch. I wasn’t, he diverted us to Camarillo and we had breakfast at Waypoint Cafe, it sits right on the airport, the food was great and the views of planes take off and land while eating breakfast felt surreal.

The whole experience was more than I expected and honestly one of the best moments of my life. I’m grateful to everyone at 30 Day CFI for giving me the chance to live out something I’ve wanted for so long. I highly recommend these guys! Nice Facility, Nice planes, nice place all around.

The entire facility is spotless, organized, and gives off a professional yet welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The aircraft are another major highlight—modern, well-equipped, and extremely well maintained. Flying in their newer Piper Archers adds a level of comfort, safety, and confidence that’s hard to find elsewhere.

I had a wonderful introductory flight with Sevak, he was extremely informative and professional, and also made the experience fun. I learned an incredible amount about all of the systems that you need to be an expert in to become a pilot. Every moment of the flight I was learning something new, from the radio communications to the instrumentation, and was even able to fly through a couple of turns with the controls myself! I certainly recommend this flight school to anyone who aspires to become a pilot.

I took the Discovery Flight with 30 Day CFI at Van Nuys Airport, and it was an incredible experience! It’s a great hands-on introduction for beginners like me. The instructors are very knowledgeable and professional, and the planes used for actual flight hours are newer and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone interested in flight training!
