I believe that Winning Techniques is a camp with a great concept and design.
It is a great way to connect with nature through various activities like swimming, water skiing, hockey and figure skating just to name a few.I am not an outdoors type of person at all but I can say that I loved every outdoor experience.
Winning Techniques helps with building independence and inspiring confidence and allows for making lasting friendships. The counselors add to the friendly atmosphere as all are quite nice.
The food offered is nutritional and delicious. Overall I would say that a stay at Winning Techniques is a must!

Winning Techniques is hands down one of the best camps out there! My experience has been phenomenal, but what really sets them apart is their incredible leadership program. I've seen a massive boost in confidence, teamwork, and responsibility after going through it. They don't just teach camp activities; they actually give you real-life skills for the 'Game of Life.' The staff treats everyone like family, and the environment is super supportive. Highly recommend!

I was a camper for years and now am a counsellor. I love the activities at this camp. The hockey program is really well run, a very fun and welcoming environment. I highly recommend this camp!

I’ve been at winning technique for years now, starting off as a camper now a staff member. I grew up in the watersports program and absolutely loved it! The coaches are very knowledgeable in every watersport imaginable! As a camper I had the opportunity to barefoot which was so cool! You cannot find a better camp vibe then wtc!

Winning Techniques is amazing! I have been going to this camp for years and have been enjoying my time here every summer! I never get bored as there’s so much to do including archery, waterskiing, and high ropes. I personally don’t like heights but that didn’t matter because there were so many other activities to do in that area including arts and crafts. The counselors were engaging and fun! Winning Techniques, even though it’s a sports camp, is very inclusive and fun for all types of people. The people at this camp are encouraging and helpful even if you aren’t the best at something. I found that even though I wasn’t the best at everything I still had fun trying, they always encouraged me even when I was too nervous to try new things. The leadership program helps build the necessary skills needed to be a good leader while still having fun. I would highly suggest coming to this camp.

We have been watching the camp from a distance for a couple of years. This summer we learned that we can apply for day camp. My 14 year old daughter had a blast at camp for two weeks this July. She was with the Mavericks, we signed her up for the adventure camp with the water sports package. Kim, Adam and all the other camp counselors and volunteers were very welcoming and embraced my daughter. They understood that introverts need a bit of time to open up and today, as we left the camp, my daughter thanked me for signing her up. She got to try water skiing and understand more of what this sport implies.
I wish I had inquired about the day camp earlier, and I plan to register her again next year, for the leadership camp. I highly recommend this camp, for all the joy it brings to so many kids. Send your kids to Winning Techniques, you won't regret it.

Absloutely loved this camp!! I couldnt have asked for a better expirence than the one I got this past week :) I came to winning techniques for one week to partcipate in their overnight figure skating program as a camper all the way from Southern California! I met some of the most amazing people here and made plenty of connections despite having only started skating a little over a year ago and being the oldest in the maverick program. I got the oppurtunity to try so many things I had never done such as waterski, wakeboard, ice dance, and more! The owners Adam and Kim were the real MVPs this week, both are such good coaches and give camp such a positive atmosphere! I will def come back next year and work through the camps leadership program.

You come for the camp experience you leave with memories and a camp family for life!
All my kids of every age and every neurodiversity have found their place at camp.
This is huge, because in other spaces of life they don’t fit in, but camp is this small pocket of the world where everywhere can be themselves and is accepted for who they are.
For example this week I watched my 9 year old daughter with level 3 autism sit at a table with 8 other kids having lunch laughing. She participated in a full day of camp, the kids remember her from her previous 5 years of experiences (she started unable to talk) and years of us sending 1on1 help, and now we are here, with a near normal experience. No other camp could take her, and we tried and we wouldn’t want it any other way honestly.
My other children have also developed life long skills like confidence, better health and eating, courage to try new sports, my one son took up figure skating and has achieved impressive skills (canskate to star 6 in 2 years) another wakeboarding, one works at camp now and so much more.
You might come for the activities, but you will leave with a heart full of great memories, a list of good people to stay in touch with and a camp family you will count down the days until next summer. I know my family starts counting the day after camp ends until camp next summer.
I’ve been coming to camp for over 25 years from camper, to counsellor, professional and a few other titles and, my older children attended for over 10 years.

Wow. After years of hearing about this place, I finally got to see Kim and Adam’s camp in action at the end of summer 2024 - and it did not disappoint. They’ve built something truly special. Our 4-year-old hasn’t stopped talking about it, and we’ve already signed him up for half the summer while we pitch in to help this year. Favourite activities: Water Sports, High Ropes, Archery, The Hammock Forest, and Afterhours! See you this summer!
