We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Nicole Patterson, Dr. Jonathan Block, and everyone at Mindful Veterinary Care.

Over the years, we've entrusted Mindful Veterinary Care with the health and well-being of both of our beloved pets—our 13-year-old cat, Rocky, and our 13-year-old dog, Barkley—and our experience has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Rocky has been through an incredibly complex medical journey involving pancreatitis, liver disease, intestinal disease, extensive diagnostic testing, and ultimately major abdominal surgery. Throughout one of the most stressful times we've ever experienced as pet owners, Dr. Nicole Patterson has guided us with exceptional medical expertise, unwavering compassion, and genuine kindness.

Dr. Jonathan Block has also provided outstanding care for Barkley, including treating him after he tore his ACL and required surgery. Having entrusted both of our pets to both of these wonderful veterinarians, we can say with complete confidence that no matter which doctor we see, our pets are in the very best hands.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by one of the friendliest, most efficient, and genuinely caring front office teams we've ever encountered. They always make you feel welcome, but what impressed us even more was that their care didn't stop when we left the office. Time and again, they called to check on Rocky, ask how he was doing, and make sure we didn't need anything. That level of kindness, compassion, and personal attention is truly exceptional and speaks volumes about the culture of this practice.

Dr. Patterson combines exceptional medical knowledge with something that is becoming increasingly rare—genuine compassion. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, answers every question with patience, and never makes you feel rushed. She treats not only her patients but also the families who love them with remarkable kindness, empathy, and respect.

What has impressed us most is that Dr. Patterson's care doesn't end when the appointment is over. She has consistently called after visits—and even between appointments—simply to check on Rocky, see how he was progressing, and ask if there was anything more she could do. Those calls were never prompted by us; they came from a veterinarian who is deeply invested in the well-being of her patients. That kind of dedication is extraordinarily rare and meant more to us than words can express.

All three of my dogs have been coming here for years! Great doctors, super friendly staff, and a clean facility. You can tell they truly care about your animals and take the time to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. I even make the 30-minute drive because they’re affordable and worth it. I’ve been to both the Delray and Lake Worth locations and have had great experiences at both. Highly recommend!

We love it at Mindful Vet! Dr. Patterson is an absolutely wonderful vet. The staff is so helpful and good with all of our cats. They go out of their way to make sure they are comfortable and get the services they need. If we have a more urgent need they find a way to fit us in and no matter who we see they are great!

Our standard poodle has multiple health issues, and a few years ago during a serious episode, Dee at West Delray Veterinary told us to come in immediately. That’s when we met Dr. Bloch, who treated our dog with incredible care and quickly arranged a neurologist.

Since then, we’ve especially trusted Dr. Bloch and Dr. Patterson with our dog’s care. When our dog dislocated his hip, Dr. Bloch coordinated surgery and follow-up care, and Dr. Patterson has since become our dog’s full-time veterinarian.

Especially Dr. Bloch and Dr. Patterson, along with the staff at both practices, are compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to the well-being of animals. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved Dr Block and the entire staff at Mindful Veterinary care. Everyone was so nice, greeted us and really seemed to care about our pug, Stanley. Dr Block took his time with us. Showed me what to do with our dog at home and he recommended supplements and I really believe in a whole approach to treatment-I love it. I was surprised by the cost too-very very reasonable. They checked up on Stanley the next day to see how he was doing and asked if I had any questions.

This is, without question, the best veterinary practice we have ever been to!

Every single team member is incredibly responsive, gentle, caring, and loving toward our dogs — Cody, Brody, and Lola, who has been going there since they first opened.

Our 12-year-old Brody needed extensive dental surgery, and we were honestly very scared, especially after frightening nose-bleeding episodes, when we had no idea what was wrong. Dr. Mejia was exceptional — compassionate, patient, and highly skilled. She walked us through everything, kept us informed, and made a very stressful situation feel manageable. Her constant check-in’s and follow ups are truly above and beyond!

We have also seen Dr. Patterson and Dr. Block, and all three veterinarians are outstanding. Their knowledge, communication, and genuine care set them apart. You truly feel guided and supported every step of the way. The vet techs and front office staff are also each incredibly compassionate, kind and so super warm and friendly!

Thanks to their phenomenal care, Brody is now happy, comfortable, and seems to have a whole new lease on life at age 12. We are beyond grateful!!

In May my Frenchie came down with IVDD and at that time i listened to the neurologist and did an MRI and an epidural for the cost of $8,000. 10 weeks later she relapsed and got another epidural for $2000 which gave her zero relief . The neurologist wanted to either give her another epidural for $2,000 or surgery for $6,000. Neither were an option for me as i was tapped out. After research i decided on acupuncture and laser therapy which brought me to Dr Block at Mindful vet . Dr Block told me he was fairly confident that with rest and treatment he could have her feeling better. Lulu just finished her 4th appointment (she also saw Dr Patterson who is also amazing depending on my schedule) and now has full movement and applying pressure on her back leg as well as her muscle tone back. before the acupuncture she applied zero pressure, was in pain and also had muscle loss. We are now at a maint level and to say i am pleased is an understatement. They saved me so much money and more importantly made my dog pain free . Cannot thank them or recommend them enough! We thank you !
