I had Daniel at Film Werkz apply gloss black PPF to the roof and pillars of my 2026 Suburban to create a factory-style two-tone look, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

From the beginning, Daniel stood out from the other shops I contacted. His pricing was competitive, but what really set him apart was his customer service. He took the time to meet with me beforehand to make sure he fully understood the look I was going for and even showed me the PPF material so I knew exactly what to expect.

Throughout the installation, he kept me updated with progress photos without me ever having to ask, which gave me a lot of confidence that my vehicle was in good hands. The finished product exceeded my expectations, the attention to detail is outstanding, and the two-tone effect looks like it came from the factory.

When we picked up the Suburban, Daniel went above and beyond by taking the time to let my kids check out some of the cars in the shop, which they absolutely loved. It’s those little touches that really make a difference.

The entire experience was professional, transparent, and stress-free. We were so impressed with both the quality of the work and the level of service that we’re already planning to bring two of our vehicles back for window tint. I highly recommend Film Werkz and Daniel to anyone looking for top-quality PPF, tint, or vehicle protection.

Danny at Filmwerkz is the real deal. Had him do a full PPF wrap and ceramic window tint on my car — primarily because I have a 1-year-old in the back seat and needed serious heat and UV protection. He nailed it.
The PPF application is spotless and the ceramic tint has made a huge difference in keeping the back seat cool. Danny was upfront about the process, meticulous with his work, and finished on time. Zero complaints.
If you care about protecting your car and the people in it, look no further. Filmwerkz is the place and Danny is your guy. 10/10.

We recently had a box truck wrapped for our mobile gym business at FilmWerkz and were very impressed. Daniel and his team are fantastic. Throughout the entire process, they kept us updated and made tweaks up until the very end to be sure we got the best results. They made our vision come true perfectly. Highly recommend. We will definitely use them again!

I had a great experience getting my windows tinted here. The quality of the work is excellent—clean, precise, and looks amazing. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The customer service was just as impressive—friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. I really appreciated that there was no upselling or pressure. Highly recommend if you’re looking for top-notch tint work and a smooth, hassle-free experience.

Film Werkz offers competitive pricing with no high-pressure sales tactics. They promised a quality tint job and absolutely delivered. Daniel was meticulous with the install and cut no corners. My humble daily driver was a bit more complicated to work with, yet he took the time to disassemble interior panels and window struts to ensure everything was seamless. If you’re looking for quality work, whether it be tint, protective films, or detailing, I highly recommend Film Werkz.

I was recommended this place by another business and I’m so glad I went. Pricing was fair and the quality is excellent. Daniel is awesome, great communication and really takes care of you. He did my window tint and also helped with a dash cam install, including ordering the right hardwire kit for my brand. The install looks super clean. Really professional, high-quality work. I’ll 100% be back.

Absolutely blown away by the work Film Werkz did on our 4Runner. This is not a mall crawler, it gets off the pavement and gets dirty--and they still made it look incredible. The paint correction was top-notch, followed by edgeless PPF and finished with a ceramic coating.

We also had the tint redone after a previous shop misrepresented the shade that failed early. This time it was done right--Daniel verified everything with a tint gauge, and it's exactly what I asked for. The attention to detail shows on every single panel.

Can't wait to get it dirty again, but it's protected now. Highly recommend Film Werkz and will be returning for maintenance work.

I had ambient lighting installed in my Tesla model S and I absolutely love it!! It came out way better than I thought. They answered all my questions and they got it done in a couple days. I would highly recommend them if you need anything custom done to your car. Thank you Film Werkz!

We recently had Paint Protection Film installed on our brand new BMW Z4 M40i in Frozen Grey II Metallic, and Film Werkz absolutely exceeded every expectation.

This car is not an easy PPF job. The factory matte paint alone is a challenge, as I wanted the film to match perfectly in finish, sheen, and texture so that it would be as invisible as possible. On top of that, the Z4 has a massive clamshell hood that’s wider than standard PPF rolls, plus very aggressive front and rear bumper designs with sharp angles, ducts, grills, and tight transitions. This is not a car you hand to “just any” shop.

We protected all major high-impact areas: front bumper, headlights, full hood, rocker panels, and the entire rear bumper.

From the very first interaction, Daniel at Film Werkz was head and shoulders above every other shop we contacted. I sent a very detailed inquiry with specific questions about materials, installation techniques, edge handling, and long-term durability. Daniel took the time to respond thoughtfully to every point with explanations clearly born out of real experience — not boilerplate marketing answers. He even shared a recent Z4 M40i with the exact same Frozen paint that they had just completed, which instantly gave us confidence we were in the right hands.

When we picked the car up, it looked stunning because the install was so invisible it looked like nothing had been done — which is exactly how a perfect PPF install should look. The film is practically undetectable unless you know where to look. No visible seams, excellent tucking, flawless transitions between protected and unprotected panels, and even the feel of the surface matches the factory matte paint. The hood is one large piece of film stretched and installed perfectly. The rear bumper was also done in a single piece and looks phenomenal. The front bumper — especially around the emblem and complex openings — is immaculate.

I’ve been a gearhead for over 25 years and do much of my own work, so when I have to take a car “out of house,” I vet shops like a vendor reviewing a subcontractor. We contacted five highly rated shops in the San Diego area, and from the first response onward, Film Werkz stood apart. Pricing was very competitive, but more importantly, Daniel instilled complete confidence that our car was being handled by a true craftsman who understands both the material and the long-term consequences of every decision.

During the install, we actually increased the scope of work, and Daniel handled it seamlessly — with transparent pricing, no pressure, and the same attention to detail throughout.

Film Werkz is exactly the kind of small boutique shop I was hoping to find — focused, meticulous, and run by someone who genuinely shares a passion for cars. Daniel has earned a lifelong customer, and Film Werkz is now our only go-to shop for PPF, tint, vinyl, or any vehicle enhancement work.

Highly, highly recommended.
