Visited for the first time, really enjoyed seeing the facility, and customer service on the retail side was extraordinary! Love that all the staff are also clay artists, which was clear -- they all know their stuff and were ready and willing to answer questions about various tools and supplies. Drove a long way to get there, but will be back, it is a one-of-a-kind clay destination!

I came down 2hrs for some business and decided to stop in and get some glaze supplies. Even though the REALLY prefer you cal 24hrs in advance (I didn’t know this at the time) for technical orders they were decently happy to accommodate and even let me tour their kilns. I met an artist there on campus who was happy to talk shop and show me around his studio. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pretty cool outdoor campus too! I’d like to come to a workshop here. Ps: WEAR A MASK. ✌🏼

My son is an amazing, award winning potter. I have ordered online from Mid-South, but he really wanted to drive to Nashville to buy 500lbs of clay. Fantastic customer service! When we walked in, Denise said “You must be Kelli!”. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I own my own business and I would recommend Mid-South highly!!

This place is the coolest place I have ever been too. I have never been to a store for artist/artwork shop and have everyone be so kind to me and know what they are talking about as well. However, there was this guy staring at me through the window I'd stare back but I had to go otherwise worth the drive if you're not from Nashville awesome place. Oh yeah and Ms. Danielle even shown me around the building too and it was supper neat!!!

Our family has not been going here very long. We recently got into pottery and found Mid South. We typically go in on the weekends, due to work, and Denise and Carrie have been so friendly and inviting. They have made us feel so welcome and excepted our beginners pottery and kindly gave us extremely helpful advice for our next batch. We have purchased a Shimpo Lite and Aspire from Mid South, plus their glazes, clay and some tools. Every shopping experience has been a pleasant one. Our most exciting time here was having our pieces fired. When we picked up our glaze fired pieces, it was like seeing a new gift you weren't expecting. The staff was even excited to see the pieces. So much fun! They are also very accepting of children and have a lovely fish pool for the children to view and a dog, if you're there on the right day. We are actually moving out of Nashville and Mid South is the only thing we will truly miss! We will gladly drive the couple hours to stock up on supplies though.
