Blessing in Disguise was an awesome experience from start to finish. We watched the Fifa Mexico vs England game. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

A special shout-out to our server, Josh, who made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect without ever being overbearing. Great service like his really stands out and made us feel genuinely taken care of.

If you're looking for great food and exceptional service, I definitely recommend Blessing in Disguise. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible spot! !

We ordered three dishes between the two of us and literally licked the plates clean!!! The beef bourguignon was hands down the star of the show—slow-cooked to absolute perfection, and the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. That rich gravy was pure perfection!!!

The mussels were also super fresh and flavourful. On top of the amazing food, their tap list is huge. I was thrilled to find my absolute favorite, Weihenstephaner Weissbier, on tap! It’s rare to find a bar that nails both the food and the drinks so perfectly. Love their philosophy: "Drink the best, drink less."

To top it all off, Muna’s incredible service truly made our night—we left feeling so happy and well taken care of. Can't wait to come back!

It's an elegant and romantic venue by design, but the music is too loud for comfortable intimate conversations. The seating features nice leather furniture, complemented by modern dim lighting that adds to the ambiance.
Friendly service enhances the experience.

Clam Chowder with Focaccia
The soup is quite enjoyable; however, the addition of bacon made it a bit saltier than necessary.

Chef's Salad + 6 oz Atlantic Honey & Praline Crusted Grilled Salmon
The salmon was beautifully baked with a thin crust on top, remaining tender and juicy. Overall, it offered a pleasing combination of protein and veggies, although it was a bit too salty. Still, it represented great value.

Striploin
Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the steak was fairly tender, though not the best striploin I've had, even in Toronto.

Petite Fours
This was the chef's daily selection of mini desserts and pastries.
• Carrot Cake with Cheesecake Layers and Sweet Sauce with Walnuts
Typically, I don't enjoy carrot cake, but the cheesecake layers and walnuts made a significant difference. This was a delightful version!
• Lemon Tarts with Coconut
Amazing! The berries add fresh, pleasantly sour notes that beautifully balance the zesty sweetness of the lemon tart and the crispy, sweet coconut shavings.
• Cheesecake Truffle
This unique dessert features cheesecake filling encased in a chocolate truffle. Although it was the only one of its kind, it left a lasting impression.
• White Chocolate Truffle
A classic, this truffle is good but not as extraordinary as the others.

And they brew excellent espresso.
Conclusion: It's a place worth exploring.

This is a lovely place. We were welcomed graciously by the host Muna and she was kind enough to let us select our seats. She has a lovely personality and made us feel so comfortable. Adriano was helpful as ever with all the course choices and his recreations were amazing. The food exceeded our expectations in all ways. We had the bison tartare, the fig and prosciutto, duck confit, lobster ravioli, and the pistachio tartufo, most of which were Adriano’s recommendations, which, again, were great! He even recommended what we could try the next time we visit haha. Blessing in Disguise had gone a great job with their staff and Muna and Adriano are definitely an asset to this establishment. We will be recommending this place to many others for its service, quality food and beautiful vibes.

This is indeed a blessing in disguise. We initially were going to another restaurant but were turned away because we had no reservation.

We ended up here at Blessing in Disguise. To our luck, there was a promotion on the burger so we got that. The burger was fresh and delicious. The portion of wedge fries seemed small but the fries were huge so they were a big soft. Perhaps they can try making the wedges smaller so they turn out crispier and it would look like there are more on the plate.

The server was friendly and personable. The food took a bit of time to come but wasn’t too outrageous.

The decor was pleasant and cozy. The washrooms were surprisingly decent and clean.

I would definitely come here again.

We recently went here for dinner - just by chance - walking by.

Deryl the waiter was awesome. He was very friendly and work hard to make our first time their memorable.

Dan, the chef, made one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time!

Monty the bartender made two drinks that I tried:
Godfather & Whisky sour - neither of them were made anything like ones I’ve had at other bars. The attention to detail ingredients and the passion involved was next level!

We had a dairy allergy and the staff went above and beyond to design a Pineapple sorbet to cater for us specifically.

Highly recommend Blessing in Disguise!!!!

Absolutely incredible experience! The food is outstanding, and I specifically came back for their Sea Soup it’s that good. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the customer service, especially our server Darell.

Darell is hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had funny, warm, sharp, and genuinely attentive. The wildest part? He somehow guessed my taste perfectly and recommended a beer I had never tried before. I hadn’t said a word about liking sour flavors—and he nailed it. I was seriously impressed.

The food, the atmosphere, the staff everything was on point. Big shoutout to Darell for turning a great dinner into a memorable experience. I’ll absolutely be back.

Had an awesome time here! The place has a great vibe, tasty food, and an amazing beer selection. Nicolas, the bartender, was super friendly and gave great recommendations. The owner was also really nice and welcoming, you can tell they care about the place. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Toronto!
