They were an administrative mess. I took what I thought were the necessary steps when making my appointment to verify my coverage with them and provide my MCO #. I was told that they could schedule me for a provider on-staff that was in network for my coverage. I was provided a relatively quick appointment turn-around time and I was thankful for that. I had to reschedule and was provided another quick appointment slot, more gratitude from me. However, I am disabled, and after traveling more than 30 minutes to their office I was asked to provide my coverage data once again. Upon supply them with the information I they spent another 30 mins or so making me wait while they did the verification I expected them to perform prior to scheduling - and rescheduling - my appointment. While I have no animosity or resentment for the practice it, based on my experience both over the phone and in person, that their administrative offices may be poorly managed. What i don't appreciate is the massive waste of my time. I don't know why you would have a customer commute more than an hour to and from you offices before verifying that customer could receive services.

I had an amazing experience at Aspen Hill General and Cosmetic Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, Alicia at the front desk made me feel so welcomed and at ease.
Dr Goorah and her team—Tigist, Yisebila, and Yadi—were all incredible. The care was thorough, professional, and genuinely comforting.
This office feels more like a group of friends than a dental visit. It’s also a one-stop shop with multiple specialists, which makes everything so convenient.
Highly recommend—easily more than 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

I’ve had a challenging time overall confirming and coordinating my treatment with this office, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five. There was a lot of back-and-forth and inconsistency when dealing with different providers.
That being said, I have to highlight two people who completely turned my experience around: Dr. McLaughlin and the dental assistant Tigist.
They were the only two who truly took the time to assist me properly. They explained everything thoroughly, made the process seamless, and ensured all of my concerns were finally addressed. After my last appointment with them, everything I had been trying to resolve throughout my time at the office was completed.
My smile is significantly better than when I started, and all of my problem areas have been corrected. I also had no issues with wait time or bedside manner during my visits with them—they were professional, attentive, and genuinely caring.
While my overall experience with the office had its frustrations, Dr. McLaughlin and Tigist absolutely deserve five stars. They really made all the difference, and I’m very grateful for their care.

If could give 0 stars I world. My first visit to this office was uncomfortable from the start. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and pushy. When I finally met with the doctor regarding my wisdom tooth procedure, she had a noticeable attitude while explaining what I needed. I did not feel comfortable, informed, or cared for. The procedure and pricing were not clearly explained, and I left confused. I ended up doing my own research at home and realized I actually did want the procedure done. Had it been properly explained, I would have scheduled it that same day.
Fast forward to today my second appointment.
After multiple phone calls trying to coordinate this visit (including several cancellations and reschedules on their end), I was under the clear impression that I was scheduled for surgery. I live nearly two hours away and had to arrange childcare since children are not allowed during procedures. I drove almost two hours, waited an hour and a half, and was then brought back only to be asked, “What are you here for?”
I repeatedly stated I was there for surgery. The hygienist insisted I was not. At that point, I knew something was wrong. I was told to wait while they “figured it out.” I made it clear I was not there for an exam I was there for a scheduled procedure.
When I went to the front desk to clarify, they told me I was scheduled for a routine exam. That is absolutely not what I scheduled.
To make matters worse, I overheard the hygienist speaking to the doctor about me in a very nasty, condescending tone, not realizing I could hear her. She claimed she had already told me she wasn’t doing the surgery which never happened. The only thing ever discussed previously was that she would not extract the entire tooth, which was not the procedure I was scheduled for.
Then, for the first time, I was told that the procedure would be out-of-pocket and not covered by insurance. No one ever explained that during my first visit or during the multiple scheduling conversations. Had that been communicated clearly, I could have prepared or made a different decision. Instead, I drove four hours round trip for confusion, attitude, and misinformation.
I made it very clear not to bill my insurance for an exam or surgery because I did not receive either.
The overall atmosphere in this office feels unprofessional and ego-driven. Between the rude staff, lack of communication, and the doctor’s dismissive attitude, I would not feel comfortable allowing her to perform any procedure on me especially something as sensitive as oral surgery.
Patients deserve clarity, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those here!

I had bad experience customer service this morning.
I called on 02/09/26 & rescheduled my son's appointment from 02/28/26 to 02/14/26 and received confirmation text message on 02/09/26. We arrived before 10 or 15 minutes from the appointment (10:50am), but the receptionist informed me that the appointment cancelled when I arrived there. I am more disappointed the way both the receptionists treated me and gave me invalid response. Because of they have a lot of patients, the way they tried to decrease the number of patients in this way! I did not receive either text message or phone call about the cancellation.
I called to complain to the Manager/supervisor, they told me that they work Monday to Friday. So, I left message one of the extensions.

I was seen by Dr. Brock for the first time for my clean up after six months. She did a great job, was very patient, calm, focused in her work, and a good listener. Im glad I was seen on time, they respected my time and I was able to leave in a hour something it would not happen in the past. Good to know the clinic is improving its waiting times.
