In March 1978, our first store opened along Mayor Magrath Drive in Lethbridge, Alberta. From there Jim set out to expand all across western Canada, sharing his passion for quality food and friendly service with new franchises that were joining the TacoTimeĀ® family. In 1993 Ken Pattenden bought Taco Time Canada Inc. from his father-in-law Jim Penny. In 1995 Ken decided to relocate Taco Time Canada Inc. away from its Lethbridge home to a more centralized Calgary in order to be more accessible to franchises and suppliers.
