Opal Restaurant & Lounge is a great place to hang out, especially if you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere with more of a family-friendly vibe than a party scene. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice touch. We visited during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and they had a huge projector screen streaming the matches, making it a great place to watch the games with friends and family. The shisha was good, but it’s a bit overpriced. The food was also tasty, but the prices are significantly higher compared to other shisha lounges across the GTA. Overall, it’s a nice place for the ambiance and match-day experience, but be prepared to spend more than you would at similar lounges.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Opal Palace Banquet Hall on May 8th, and it was truly an unforgettable evening. From the moment we first visited the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for such a special milestone.

The banquet hall is absolutely beautiful. The elegant décor, stunning lighting, and impressive visual effects created the perfect atmosphere and made the celebration feel even more magical. You can truly see the effort and investment that has gone into making the venue stand out.

A very special thank you to Sara, the event manager, who was wonderful throughout the entire process. From our very first meeting to the day of the event, she was organized, attentive, reassuring, and always available to answer our questions. Her attention to detail and calm, confident approach gave us so much peace of mind and made the planning experience completely stress-free. On the day of the celebration, everything was coordinated seamlessly.

The staff were professional, courteous, and extremely cooperative. The bartenders were also a lot of fun and added such a lively energy to the evening. So many of our guests complimented us on how beautifully organized the event was and how much they enjoyed themselves.

The food was another major highlight. The appetizers and main course were delicious, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by our guests.

We cannot praise Opal Palace enough for helping us create such a memorable celebration. Thank you to Sara and the entire team for making our 25th anniversary so special. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful space, exceptional service, and a truly memorable experience.

I had such a great experience thanks to Royal! The service was honestly amazing from start to finish. Royal was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without being over the top. You can really tell they care about customers and take pride in their work.
Everything came on time, they checked in just the right amount, and the whole vibe felt welcoming and comfortable. Definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve had. I’ll be coming back for sure highly recommend asking for Royal!

If you’re thinking of planning your wedding Sara is your go to person! Sara was honestly a lifesaver, she planned my whole wedding and I barely had to do a thing. She handled everything from start to finish and made sure every little detail was perfect. I felt so relaxed knowing she had it all under control. Opal hosted my wedding late August and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The venue itself is breathtaking, but what truly set the experience apart was the level of care from the entire team and the amazing food.

I had the chance to try this Middle East–Italian fusion restaurant for the first time, and it was quite an experience. While it is advertised as fusion, it is mainly Lebanese at its core. The moment you step in, you’ll notice that almost every table has a hookah without exception. Since we chose to sit outside, it didn’t bother me, but it’s something worth keeping in mind before you go.

The décor and ambiance are absolutely beautiful, modern and clean. They had just introduced a new menu that blends Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. In hindsight, I think I should have leaned more toward the Middle Eastern selections, but the chicken tagliatelle I ordered was still really good, with tender chicken and a sauce that balanced creaminess with just the right seasoning.

I also had a chance to check out the palace side of the venue, and it’s stunning, definitely a space that could be considered for special events, gatherings, or even business meetings. Another plus is its location: right at one of the main intersections, making it very easy to get to.

Overall, it’s a unique spot where Lebanese tradition meets Mediterranean and Italian touches, offering not just food but a full atmosphere.
