I had an AC efficiency issue, I called them to check my attic insulation and apparently it was in a bad shape.
They came out and replaced the whole insulation in no time and left everything clean afterwards.
I would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for quality and speed.

Hello,

I wanted to share a summary of our initial call with LoneStar Chimney regarding options for improving our attic insulation to help address the ongoing challenges with our A/C system. We reached out to get a quote for either a radiant barrier or foam insulation, hoping to reduce the thermal load in the attic and alleviate the strain on our air conditioning.

From the outset, Edgar impressed me with their thorough pre-inspection. They carefully identified all the areas needing attention, provided a straightforward and honest assessment, and mapped out a clear timeline for repairs. The difference after today’s work is nothing short of remarkable; it feels like night and day compared to the state of things before.

What sets Edgar apart is their attention to detail and commitment to solving the root cause of problems. Unlike previous vendors who seemed to focus only on finding something minor to claim as broken, Edgar pinpointed critical issues—like our ducts not being properly sealed to the plenum—that had gone unnoticed for years. Additionally, Edgar highlighted that the upper portion of our unit had been sealed with medical grade tape, which, due to condensation, led to mold forming. No one else had flagged this, but Edgar’s team not only fixed it but also tackled several other repairs immediately.

It’s worth noting that we recently completed our summer maintenance with our current A/C vendor, and none of these issues were mentioned during their visit.

I truly can't express enough how happy I am with the quality and professionalism shown by Edgar and the Lonestar Chimney team. Their work has made a significant difference in our home, and I would absolutely recommend Edgar and their crew to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and outstanding service.

Thank you again for such a fantastic job!

Best regards,
