I am extremely disappointed with my experience with My Pet's Brace.

After receiving my dog's brace, I scheduled a FaceTime call with one of their technicians specifically to ensure the brace was fitted and positioned correctly. During the call, the technician clearly saw how the brace fit in my dog's groin area and never mentioned that it appeared to be cut too high or that fit issues could take time to develop.

Ironically, that later became the exact reason the brace had to be sent back for modification.

Because of the fit issue, my dog's physical therapist instructed us to stop all therapy immediately until the brace was corrected. This interrupted the progress he had already made during his first three therapy sessions.

Communication throughout this process was also poor.

The technicians themselves were kind, patient, and pleasant to work with. However, I do not recall being told that the return label would be sent by email as a UPS label, so I waited for it to arrive by regular mail.

After several days passed, I finally called and was told to check my spam folder, but there was no UPS label there. I was then told it had supposedly been sent four days earlier and that it would be resent. I received it the second time, but this resulted in an unnecessary four-day delay.

As a result, my dog's rehabilitation has now been interrupted since the week before Easter, despite the fact that I had already paid for and begun a therapy package. We may now have to start the rehabilitation process over entirely.

When I contacted the owner to explain the situation and request partial compensation for the delays and disruption caused, the request was denied.

Her response felt cold and lacked empathy or accountability. Rather than acknowledging the company's role in the situation, responsibility seemed to be shifted elsewhere. The only thing I was offered was an extension of the warrenty, in case a need to send it back should arise in the future.

While I understand that adjustments can sometimes be necessary with custom devices, I believe clearer communication, better guidance during the fitting process, and greater accountability would have made this experience very different.

For a company providing medical support devices for pets, I expected much better communication, guidance, and customer care.

When our little dog had a second ACL tear at 15 years old, surgery seemed too hard and we could not bear to do the after-surgery movement restrictions again as they made her so sad the first time. My Pet’s Brace gave her freedom and movement without pain. She went camping, did some light hiking, and was able to resume her daily walks within a few weeks. The staff was very responsive any time we needed help and answered all our questions. She had the best last year of her life thanks to them. And when she passed the ENTIRE team signed a card and wrote us notes about her. They could not have taken better care of her.

We have had such a wonderful experience with My Pet's Brace. From the very beginning, they provided detailed, easy-to-follow instructions that made the process feel manageable and reassuring. They have check in consistently to see how Kobe is doing, showing how much they care. When we needed a replacement strap, they sent one free of charge without hesitation and were so kind to us to help us work through the problem Kobe was having with the snow. We had a wonderful experience with My Pet’s Brace at the Morgantown, PA location. They created custom hock braces for our cat, Rey, and the care we received from start to finish was exceptional. Dr. Clayton was fantastic with Rey through every step of the process, from casting to fitting to refitting and thoughtful tweaks to accommodate a cat, which is something they do far less often than dogs. It truly felt special and individualized! 😻

The office itself is clean, bright, and very welcoming. The entire staff is kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The team followed up with us regularly to make sure everything was going well, and when we needed help adjusting straps and pads while we were all learning how to keep Rey from chewing on them, they were supportive and responsive. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to drive in when needed or receive replacement parts by mail.

We were referred to My Pet’s Brace by Rey’s orthopedic surgeon, and thanks to these braces, we were able to avoid surgery. We were especially grateful that Dr. Clayton did not shy away from a sore wound on one of Rey's hocks and instead embraced her and designed an open-back hock brace that significantly accelerated her healing. The entire team treated us with care and compassion, so we recommend My Pet’s Brace without hesitation!

Our dog tore her ACL in both hind legs. Being a small dog, they will heal but without significant support re-injury is a concern. The staff at My Pets Brace was very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. They made castings of her hind legs then crafted braces unique to her. It’s not really an exaggeration to say she loves them. We are back to 2 one mile walks after just 1 week. They are comfortable for her and stay snuggly in place. I can’t say enough how satisfied we are with the braces, the whole process and the wonderful staff at My Pets Brace. I would highly recommend them.

I would recommend My Pet’s Brace to anyone with a pet who needs a little extra help! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and welcoming. Scheduling was simple, and the facility itself is spacious, spotless, and comfortable for both pets and their people.

The staff truly take their time with you and your injured baby, carefully explaining each step and walking you through the process. They craft the braces in house, which means the turnaround time is just about a week (incredible compared to the much longer wait times I’ve seen working in human orthotics offices).

My dog is very nervous and anxious, but the team was so patient and kind with her that by the end of her second appointment, she was fully relaxed. That meant so much to me.

I especially appreciated how mindful they were about pet safety, making sure no other animals crossed paths when we were coming and going. Every single person we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.

My veterinarian raved about this place, and now I understand why. My dog received her brace today and she’s already walking better! The cost is out of pocket, but comparable to what you’d expect at a human medical office, and in my case, pet insurance covered it. Even better, all follow-up visits are included in the price, which is great. We’ve already scheduled our 4 month follow-up, and I can’t wait to see how much progress she makes by then.
