I had blue chip replace en exterior door in my house. It was one of the smoothest experiences I have had with a company. Once they had the door in stock they scheduled the work immediately. They arrived right on time, were very respectful of my house. The crew was very knowledgeable about the work they were doing, did an excellent work and left all the work area completely clean. You can't even tell they were here :-)
I would definitely recommend them.

Joe and his team were super professional and did a great job installing a front and sliding door at our house. Joe was communicative and clear about all of the work, and kept us informed from the time we ordered through completion of the installation. We would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs a fair and reliable contracter.

I worked with Joe for a remodel at my home in the Fall of 2025. He was prompt and courteous. He did a full walk through the home and project with me, we talked through ideas and challenges he saw. He prepared a detailed proposal for the project with sequence breakouts and pricing. He also included cutsheets for the materials and construction which I was able to review. He was quick to answer questions and provide revised quotes based on changes I was looking for. 100% would recommend again, really someone you can feel comfortable with for a large scale project.

Blue Chip Construction is exactly the kind of contractor you hope to find in the Raleigh area. From the first phone call to project completion, their communication, professionalism, and follow-through truly set them apart. They answer the phone, explain the process clearly, and—most importantly—do exactly what they say they’ll do.

Their knowledge of local building codes and permitting in Wake County really shows. Whether it’s residential renovation work or commercial construction, they understand the unique challenges of older homes in Raleigh. Everything was done correctly, passed inspection the first time, and there were no surprise costs.

The quality of workmanship was excellent, and it’s clear they take pride in standing behind their work. If you’re looking for a licensed, insured contractor in Raleigh who values accountability, I highly recommend Blue Chip Construction.

Joe has continued to be a resource for me for over a year as I’ve been replacing the windows in my home. He’s an honest operator who wants to empower homeowners even if it hurts his bottom line. I would recommend him to anyone and will absolutely be using him in the future!

We were fortunate to find Blue Chip via a Google search 2 years ago.

We flip & remodel homes as a living, Joe and his team have worked with us on around 7 projects so far ranging in price from a few thousand to over $750,000.

I have no hesitation recommending Joe and his team for anything they are willing to commit too.

Joe and his crew were the most professional and kind contractors I have worked with. Excellent craftsmanship, respected our home while working in it, and best pricing. Do not get new windows or doors without first calling Joe.

I couldn’t be more impressed with Blue Chip Construction. From the very beginning, they have been professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail of my project. As a woodworker myself, I hold a high standard for craftsmanship — and the best compliment I can give is that they do things the way I would: the proper way.
They are currently building my first-floor addition, which includes a master bedroom, a huge walk-in closet, and a master bathroom, along with installing an elevator for ease of access. Every step of the process has been handled with precision and care, and their commitment to quality is evident in both the big picture and the smallest details.
Blue Chip Construction truly lives up to their name — reliable, stable, and delivering superior results. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a team that combines skill, professionalism, and integrity.

We just moved to Raleigh and purchased a home that needed some TLC. Joe/Blue Chip Construction completely redid our back porch and made it part of the home! He also replaced our entry door! Both look unbelievable. Great job! 5 stars. Easy to work with. On budget. Honest. Open. Hard worker and hard working team. Not satisfied until you are happy. We will use him for future renovations. Highly recommend. My pictures don’t do his work justice.
