I believe in bc they give lower rates for copper wire. The workers told me that your copper wire in category of 3 copper but when i sold to A1 metal they gave me $7 lb as copper 2 and same for insulated wires.

I sold heavy metal tubes the prices are much lower than market they make weird statements about the material that it’s not heavy and mix type I really disappointed. I see there are a lot of best dealers locally than these scrap yards I really regret to sold to your yard.

First timer today had a good overall experience. Yard staff friendly and professional. Office staff friendly enough but maybe need to get little more efficient as it takes awhile to get you paid and on your way. Owner was there. Dan was super friendly and easy to talk to. Will be back.

Years and years ago, my partner and I brought scrap here for the first time.

When we left, we were really happy with what we were paid. They had gained a customer.

The next time we came, we were called to the office and given an envelope. When I asked what it was... they said they had missed something on our first run. It was a fairly significant chunk of money to me at the time. I was floored.

When I asked why they bothered telling me and didn't just keep the cash? You know... I should have double checked...

The response I got was: Dishonesty is a short term business plan.

So. Not only did they gain a customer... they gained a life-long friend and referral. And furthermore, gave me a set of standards/morals to run my businesses by.

I don’t really understand how much per pound of the rebar that I sold to them. The steel is 1,344 lbs then they paid me only 132.09 . It means just 10 cents only per pound , am I right?that is why I’m so confused about the price.Before I went there I called already,and base on my understanding its 70cents per pound ,and then after I received the payment ,I’m so shock when I saw the receipt that is why im so disappointed that time.
