I had my portfolio headshots done with Raph at Raph Nogal Photography and loved the experience! I chose him because of the natural, human quality of his portfolio. As a first-time client who usually freezes in front of the camera, I was nervous, but Raph's warmth and gentle direction made the entire process seamless and enjoyable.

He is highly organized, gives great tips, and created such a comfortable atmosphere that I got great shots without feeling awkward. The studio is also modern, clean, and functional. Raph makes his craft look effortless; he is a true talent. I highly recommend his professional services to anyone.

I had an editorial photo session with Raph Nogal, and it was a fantastic experience. He is super friendly, but more importantly, he truly knows his craft. What sets him apart is that it’s not just about taking pictures, he took the time to understand my needs and worked with me to ensure the best outcome. I have to mention that I’m not a naturally photogenic person and usually hate having my photo taken, but he made me feel comfortable and managed to make me look like a professional model. I am on the board of a theatre company, Scarborough Music Theatre, and Raph Nogal has been our go to production photographer for over a decade. His photos are always exquisite. He has a real knack for capturing the essence of a show and significant moments. We always receive raves about the shots from those involved in the show and our audiences. Raph is also one of THE best wedding photographers. A number of our actors have had him capture their special day and his photos are next level. Our entire photography experience with Raph was out of this world! From our very first meeting, he made us feel so at ease. We told him we wanted our pictures to tell a story of our wedding day so we can look back and know exactly what happened at that moment. He went above and beyond our expectations! When we got our photos it was as if we were right there in that moment again. Not to mention, he was quit the eye for capturing the perfect moments! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, he was nothing but professional and loads of fun to be around! He totally took the stress out of the day and made it so enjoyable.

Hiring Raph and Oliver to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. We're so happy with their work, from the initial communication and getting to know them, to the engagement shoot, the wedding day itself, and working with Raph to design our gorgeous wedding album. Raph's communication was excellent throughout - we always knew what was going on and he was happy to answer any questions. He and Oliver were fun to work with, and professional throughout, and they caught so many of the moments that were so important to us. During their candid work we didn't notice them, but the moments they captured were perfect. We also loved that they asked detailed questions ahead of time that got us thinking about some of the shots and moments we wanted to be captured, so they could keep an eye out and capture them. Raph is a wonderful wedding photographer and it was truly a pleasure to work with him. We were first drawn to him based on the amazing pictures we had seen on his blog page. He totally surpassed our expectations and blew us away with his knowledge, skill and professionalism!
The details are what are important to Raph and that is evident not only in the images he takes, but also in their presentation. We just got our album yesterday and I cannot stop thinking about how beautiful it is. This will be truly something that my husband and I will have forever to remember our special day.
