It all began in 1910, when Sam Pappas emigrated from Greece to Belleville, Ontario. He opened up a billiards room and built the business on quality pool tables, great food and service. He opened up a billiards room and built the business on quality pool tables, great food and service. In 1954 the business moved to Etobicoke where his son, Bill Pappas owned and operated Kingsway Billiards very successfully for 40 years. In 1992, the third generation of the Pappas family, Sam and his wife Tracey, continued the tradition by opening the first Crooked Cue. The concept was so successful it was featured on "Canada's Top Pool Halls" on the "CBC" and "TSN". Read more
