SEASONS Malibu is absolutely Fantastic in every way around. From the care and treatments to staff’s kindness and compassionate comradely each and every moment. Fantastic food and accommodations!

I am blown away by the qualifications of each and every person on staff and would choose these folks as friends.

Best of luck to you,

Robert

I had a childhood friend that was admitted at this facility and she’s been sober since. I’ve lost friends that have been in and out of rehabs and sober livings, but by far this has had the biggest positive and long term impact on my loved ones. I genuinely can’t believe we’re celebrating her 1 year sober. Michael was able to give a personalized experience through recovery including activities, therapy, and handling physical withdrawals. She had a much better experience here than the last place she was admitted, the staff is friendly and the facility is always clean.

I chose this program when my partner threatened to leave if I didn’t get help. The balance between mental health therapy and addiction support felt thoughtful. Some sessions were emotionally heavy, but they were necessary. When I returned home, communication improved and trust slowly rebuilt. The experience taught me patience, responsibility, and respect for my own limits, which I never truly understood before starting recovery here. I’d recommend it.

I decided to seek help after a car accident made me realize how risky my habits had become. The intake process felt private and respectful, which eased my fear. Therapy was challenging but practical, especially one-on-one sessions. I struggled with cravings early, yet support never disappeared. Leaving, I felt stronger and clearer about my future. Months later, I still use what I learned and feel grateful for choosing treatment when everything else in my life collapsed before. I’d recommend it.

I came here after losing my job because of substance use and constant stress. The environment felt calm, not clinical, which surprised me. I liked how therapy included physical activities and mindfulness. There were moments of doubt, but progress felt steady. Today I’m working again and feel proud. My family says my attitude changed completely, and I finally believe I deserve a healthier life than the one I lived before recovery. I’d recommend it. Thanks

I entered treatment after a panic attack at the airport made me cancel a trip. The staff created a plan that fit my pace, not a generic routine. I doubted myself at first, but therapy slowly changed that. By the end, I could travel again, sleep better, and trust my emotions without fear for the first time in years alone. I’d recommend it.

I arrived feeling broken after a relapse that scared my kids. The private setting made it easier to open up. Group sessions felt supportive, not awkward. I left with tools I still use daily. Recovery felt possible for the first time in years of my life today. Thanks

Seasons has helped me in so many ways. The top-notch treatment team, the client advocates, nurses and great food all make a huge difference in your success there. I didn't know until I got to Seasons that they are the only rehab center using licensed, clinical psychologist for all primary therapy and the only one using masters level case managers. There's no question that experience and education helps alot. Everyone else uses interns and people training for their license to save money. Unbelievable ocean views help too! Highly recommended!

I believe that sometimes one therapist is not enough, especially when dealing with extreme mental health challenges or severe addiction. In my private practice, I often refer my clients to Seasons in Malibu, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
What sets Seasons apart is their incredible variety of treatment modalities, which many other recovery centers lack. During my research into various rehabs and mental health facilities, I found that most offer only one or two sessions with a primary therapist, followed by group sessions. In contrast, Seasons provides a wealth of one-on-one options.
Clients have access to personalized sessions with their primary therapist, case managers, hypnotherapists, as well as treatments like craniosacral therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR, brain spotting, massage, acupuncture, yoga and spirituality sessions. This diverse approach means that clients receive unique "puzzle pieces" from each modality. As they piece them together, they gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening on a subconscious level, enabling them to move forward into a healthier and more productive life.
If you’re seeking a comprehensive recovery experience, which gets you results, Seasons in Malibu is a brilliant choice!

As a mental health professional familiar with Seasons in Malibu's approach, I recommend them highly. Their clinical team and staff demonstrates a genuine commitment to individualized, trauma-informed treatment and holistic recovery. Clients I've referred have consistently reported feeling respected and supported. The multidisciplinary collaboration between Therapists, medical staff and case managers is excellent. From a clinician's perspective, Seasons in Malibu provides high-quality, ethically grounded treatment in a beautiful and restorative setting. Highly recommend!

I tried to become a patient here. They gaslit me about contacting my insurance to verify care. They kept telling me their insurance verification team was currently on hold to speak to the right department. When I called my insurance to straighten this out my insurance had not received ANY contact from Seasons Malibu to verify my benefits. (Over 24 hours since I submitted my insurance United Healthcare PPO. information to them) Residential is a step up from an IOP/PHP program I am in they told me they refused to have me be a patient because I was yelling at them. I’m a person in crisis and I’m frustrated because you and your team are being dishonest. This is one of the facilities in the country that offer segregated care for women. And I will not go into a coed experience because i have been physically assaulted by men while in other inpatient facilities. Instead of recognizing my frustrations coordinating care. Merritt the intake director said that because of that history and because I believed they were gaslighting me they are refusing my treatment. I feel like I was discriminated against because I was an insurance patient vs cash paying patient and because I am victim of physical abuse going through a mental health crisis. How is a mental health facility not know how to deescalate a situation.

The entire time I dealt with Seasons it felt as if they didn’t want me to be a patient. If they fumble this hard at verifying insurance benefits I can only imagine how poor the rest of the facility and staff is handled.

Words cannot express the amazing experience that I had at Seasons. The facilities and services that are offered make Seasons feel like you are staying at a five star resort. The panoramic views of the ocean make this a wonderful place to focus on your recovery. The amazing meals prepared by a private chef, the beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi make this place truly a place where you receive luxury treatment .

The staff is extremely accommodating and willing to help you in any way possible. The therapists are deeply committed to your well-being and truly work miracles. Weekly sessions include; acupuncture, massage therapy, somatic therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, spiritual therapy, equine therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and so much more.

As I leave Seasons to go back to my world, I feel so strong and healthy. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to each and every person who helped me get my life back on track. It was hard to say goodbye, as the people at Seasons feel more like family and friends than the clinical experts that they are. Season’s is a magical place that will change your life.
