There’s a very large ad in the Aspen Daily News promoting complimentary snacks and wine tastings on Fridays from 4-6. I was very excited to sample some wines to purchase for my friend’s birthday. We were told that they weren’t doing wine samplings because it wasn’t busy. I guess they should change their ad to say “wine samplings Fridays 4-6 if we feel like it.” Very disappointed in the experience.

Going downhill fast with the new owners. Prices have doubled. Support locally owned liquor stores not these out of town Aspen want to be locals. Support Local Spirits!

Nice wine/liquor store in downtown Aspen. Their variety and pricing is reasonable for being in Aspen. A good stop if you need to stock up.

The Grog Shop staff is very friendly and helpful. When I need help they are able to answer my questions. The delivery is always accurate and prompt. The selection of wines is outstanding. I always look forward to shopping there when I am in town.

Came to Aspen for a trip back in August 2022. When visiting the grog shop I had a great experience, I was able to find exactly what I needed super quickly, while also learning more about their wide selection of products. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially Abbie! A staff like the grog shops is truly unmatched and I had such a pleasant experience for being from out of town! Wishing you all the best.

I love this liquor store. They have a huge selection of alcohol and wine, including some high end wines and whiskeys. It's in a convenient location, and you can even order online, which makes shopping for liquor super easy. The inside is clean and the employees are helpful. I highly recommend it!
