Great vibe. Lively and fun. Service is excellent, great interesting menu, and although none of us wanted a drink, their drink menu looks great and I will br back on a day that I feel like a drink with my brunch. All of us, ordered from the poutine items. I got the el Camino, and the ingredients were great but the combination was not as good as I thought it might be. The flavors were not that bold, eggs poached perfectly, potatoes were good, and the holandaise was yummy. One other diner mentioned she did not feel like the duck confit was a bit salty and not alot. This is a time when the menu, service, vibe set an expectation for me that the food would be as great, and it was good, just not great.

I ordered the eggs benny and I was asked how I would like my eggs. I said medium. The server then said that the eggs will come out with hard white and medium yoke. I agreed! The dish came to the table I put my knife into the egg and it burst all over the plate with more runny white than I've ever seen. They were soo under cooked I couldn't eat it. I waved her down to show her the eggs. She then proceeded to tell me this is there normal medium eggs... she was literally looking at the severely undercooked eggs. Maybe she doesn't eat eggs! I don't know. I kindly asked if she could bring me a half benny with proper medium eggs as I did like the hollandais and croissant base. After 15 minutes she brings me a new half benny. And guess what? The egg was even more under cooked...lol. I immediately asked for my bill. Than she sends another server to take my payment. I have trained more servers and bar tenders over my years. This was a perfect example of a server with over confidence. Great place! Great taste! Server gave me a bad taste over all.

Food was decent and tasty but I didnt really like the pork carnitas, I dont think it whent well with the dish. The herbed potatoes however were perfect. French toast was decent but some parts were dry. The bacon in the soul in a bowl was a bit too hard to chew

Had the French Toast Trifle and the Pineapple Grapefruit Oasis. The French toast was really delicious, and the combination of fresh strawberries, blueberries, pistachios, lemon curd, and torched pavlovas made it even better. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. The service was excellent as well, with friendly and welcoming staff throughout the visit. Great brunch spot and I’d definitely come back 😀

Absolute GEM! I’d say a diamond in the rough, but so far everything in Victoria has been wonderful. Woke “early” for breakfast but most things are closed until 8: not OEB Breakfast! Thankfully open, welcoming, patient, and serving deliciously prepared food! If you have the opportunity and inclination, order the blueberry chicken bangers - epic!

Portions are appropriate and filling. Products are ethically sourced with options for everyone. Everything came out hot and better than expected from some of the reviews (I’m looking at you, Kevin!). Liza was great to us and if we get the chance on this short trip up north, we WILL be back.
