On July 1st 2025, my wife of 40 years fell in our home and ended up with a brain bleed requiring brain surgery. My wife was in a coma for 4 days and we almost lost her then. I started to plan a funeral and contacted the Central Fl Casket Store and Funeral Chapel. Mike was a huge help going over the options and subsequent costs then my wife woke up and started her recovery. For the next 6 month my wife recovered, then suddenly on early morning of January 9th, 2026, I got an early morning call from the skilled nursing facility with the news my wife had passed. We reached out to Mike and arrangements were made for him to pick up my wife’s remains which was quick. The next morning Mike introduced me to Candice who immediately took over. We spent next to no time finalize all arrangements.

We are retired military and we had already planned to be laid to rest at the Fl National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. My wife’s transportation to the National Cemetery was seamless.

The cost and whole process from the start to finish was superb. I highly encourage those in need of a funeral to please look into what Central Fl Casket Store and Funeral Chapel has to offer….Thank you Mike and Candice.

During one of the hardest times in our lives, this funeral home truly went above and beyond for our family.

Candice was an absolute blessing. From the moment they picked my dad up the night he passed, all the way through the end of his service, she was so kind, compassionate, and attentive. She was always available to answer questions (no matter how small), and she made sure every detail of the memorial service was exactly how we wanted it. She genuinely cared.

Something else that really stood out was their pricing. In such a vulnerable time, when it can feel like some places take advantage of grieving families, their costs were significantly more reasonable than many others we looked into. That kind of integrity speaks volumes. They aren't in the business to only make a profit.

We actually used them back in 2008 when my grandmother passed away. We were so pleased with the care and service then that there was no question we would use them again for my dad. Once again, they exceeded our expectations.

They are truly super sweet people who care deeply about the families they serve. I highly recommend them to anyone walking through loss. 💛

We were deeply impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Candice at the Casket company. She treated our family with genuine compassion and respect during a very difficult time. What stood out most was her honesty — she did not try to play on our emotions or upsell any services.

Casket company’s pricing was also remarkably fair, at least half the cost of other funeral homes we checked in the Lakeland area. Later Our choice was confirmed our Church Bereavement folks said that casket company was wonderful to work with.

We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of trustworthy and compassionate funeral service For a loved one.

My grandmothers funeral was held here at the Casket Store and we had a great experience. Candice, Mike, and the rest of the team did their very best to try and accommodate every request and need we had, sometimes before we even asked. They were extremely helpful, kind, respectful, patient, and made us feel cared for throughout the process. It turned out to be a beautiful funeral service and graveside burial. Candace and Mike and their team at Central Florida Casket Store helped in the planning of our mother’s burial and funeral arrangements. They were there for our entire family every step of the way. They helped us and patiently guided us through the entire process and journey. We couldn’t have done this without them. My mom passed away on June 25, 2025, just as we were heading into the Fourth of July weekend. It was a difficult and emotional time, and I was hundreds of miles away in Virginia while she was in Florida. From the start, Candice at Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel handled everything with urgency, care, and compassion. She let me know upfront that the holiday weekend might slow things down slightly—but even so, she worked diligently, kept me updated, and made sure I felt supported through every step.

As soon as the holiday weekend ended, Candice reached out right away and got everything moving again. My mother’s remains were home with me in Virginia by the following week—just about a week and a half after the Fourth of July. Her responsiveness and commitment gave me peace during a time that could’ve easily felt chaotic and cold.

When my aunt first connected me with Candice—having used this funeral home before—I had no idea how much of a blessing that introduction would be. Candice made everything easier for me. She communicated clearly and quickly, sending all forms and details by email so I could handle everything remotely. She answered every question with compassion and efficiency, and I could feel through her emails that she truly cared—not just about the process, but about me and my mom.

Once all the paperwork and payment were completed, they acted quickly to retrieve my mother from the hospital morgue and bring her into their care. That gave me so much peace in the midst of everything. I could tell they take pride in what they do and treat their responsibility with respect and dignity—even for those who are no longer with us.

Candice also arranged to have my mom’s remains shipped to me in Virginia. When the package arrived, everything was packed with care—secure and respectful. I happened to be looking out the window when my mail carrier brought it to my door, and I watched her handle it so gently. She knew what it was, and the way she treated it meant so much to me. It was a surreal moment, but I was so thankful.

Their pricing was very reasonable, and their service went above and beyond. In a time of grief, they brought comfort, professionalism, and genuine care. I’m so grateful for how they supported me and honored my mother.
