We are first time home buyers using the VA Home Loan process, needless to say in 2026 this is not an easy task. Danny Plattner at Altitude Home Loans was exceptional to work with for this very reason. Every one we interacted with at Altitude was wonderfully pleasant really.
Adjusting to non-military life and rotating the kids into their new normal while buying a home made this take longer than it needed to but Danny stuck it out with us.
Like any sane person we shopped around and chose Danny/Altitude because the rates we're good (even before buy down), they are local and he knew the VA process inside and out. He was extremely honest and that's definitely what you want during this whole process. Danny made sure to be present at our closing so if anything popped up it could be address/handled right then and there, no waiting to hear back. Sounds kinda cheesy to rave about him but dude is worth every penny. In our opinion he has gone above and beyond our expectations. Buying a home is obviously a huge decision in life, having Danny there in our corner made the world of difference. If you're a veteran and ready to use that VA Home Loan give him a call.
