Kurt Sr and Kurt Jr at this family run business are knowledgeable, patient and fair. And nice and personable. We, two old ladies, went in with a shoe box full of stuff to sell, and of course a lot of it was junk, but we got good prices on what was not junk. They are the real deal, and you should make an appointment to have your stuff evaluated....

But wait, there's a sequel.
I don't quite understand what the guys at Tampa Gold Exchange business model is. The stuff they said wasn't real or junk turned out to be, with a couple of exceptions, THE REAL DEAL. They marred some of the GOLD
COINS, including a KRUGERAND, with their acid testing, rendering them useless as jewelry, had we decided to keep them for that purpose.
Well, guess what Tampa Gold Exchange, and prospective sellers?
We took our shoe box elsewhere. Not in Tampa, but still in Florida, on the East Coast.
Are ya ready? We got over 20,000 in cash for their rejects.
So, I can't say I would recommend this company, other than for courtesy and patience.

I had four pure gold coins, multiple heavy neck chains and a few bracelets all passed down to me over the years. Most was hardly worn in perfect condition but I also had a couple with broken clasps. Some were 18 karat. Most were 14 carat. I called and went to five different stores in the area all of which severely low balled me. One husband and wife team really tried taking advantage of me offering me only half of what the scrap gold price was. Luckily my last call was to Tampa Gold Exchange. Soooo glad I called them. A father and his son helped me. Honest family business. They paid me so much more than I even expected and paid me cash in hand. I will be sending everyone I know to them. Don't waste your time with anyone else like I did. Call these guys. You'll be happy you did!
