My first visit to Don Jose Restaurant was such a great experience! The moment you walk in, you immediately get that authentic Mexican vibe — from the colorful banderitas decorating the place to the traditional Mexican music welcoming you at the door. The atmosphere felt warm, lively, and very inviting.

The chips and guacamole were honestly so good and a perfect way to start the meal. I ordered their special plate, and the serving size was huge — definitely satisfying and worth it because it left me completely full. The staff were also one of the highlights of the experience. Everyone was very friendly, cheerful, and accommodating. They really made an effort to converse with customers and make you feel welcome, which made the dining experience even better.

The only thing I wish they had was Tres Leches for dessert because it would’ve been the perfect ending to the meal. But overall, I absolutely loved my experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, generous portions, and a fun, authentic atmosphere!

Me and my daughter went to get some food to carry out. The owner greeted us with such kindness like we never experienced before. Food was superb as well. We had tacos with rice and beans. I got a margaritas to go it was so good. Will definitely go back soon.
