Excellent food, excellent service and a fantastic dinner and bar hangout spot. Hiram (restaurant manager) was wonderful and took great care of us. The whole staff was impressive.

Would return just for the amazing service and curry dish even if I wasn’t staying in the hotel. Highly recommend! (Plus, they’re open late and the fries are incredible!)

Verse is a fantastic addition to Hotel Mockingbird and absolutely worth a visit. We started with the smoked trout dip, which was excellent—especially the house pickles that accompanied it, adding a bright, flavorful touch to the dish.
For our mains, I had the roasted sweet potato harvest bowl, which was both delicious and satisfying, with a very generous and healthy portion. My friend ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and clearly done with care.
The real standout of the evening was the beverage program. Both the mocktails and cocktails were creative, well-balanced, and truly memorable. Combined with attentive and friendly service throughout the meal, it made for a wonderful dining experience.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Verse to anyone staying at or visiting the hotel.
