The previous reviewer is absolutely right. This horrible place offers bad to mediocre food at higher than average prices.

Wow, what a mistake that was!

I looked online, saw that the restaurant looked clean and reasonable (a couple of bucks cheaper than Mandarin), and thought "why not give it a try?" My wife (ever the intelligent one), was leery. In retrospect, yes, not a great idea to eat at a restaurant next to the train tracks on one side-and the bus depot on the other.

The soup was cool and partially congealed.

The dumplings, meat dishes, and side dishes were generally overcooked, dried out, or tough. The one exception was the meat from the BBQ station, which was not cooked all the way through. Hard to see, as it was slathered with sauce, but trust me-not cooked.

The sushi was the least bad of the food offerings, but even there, the salmon was of inferior quality and looked dried out, and the wasabi was watered down into a runny paste.

As we were laughingly trying to choke down a bite of something that was either dried out, hard, or sticking in our teeth (or throats), my wife asked me if I was in the mood for burnt apple pie. As we bravely approached the dessert station, I saw what she meant. I do have to say, though, the red jello cubes were perfectly fine...but they alone are not worth the price of admission.

And, believe it or not, even the fortune cookies were of inferior quality-tasteless and falling apart in the mouth. And the fortune was pretty lame too.

All in all, this restaurant is definitely cheaper than Mandarin...but my god, while rushing home to run to the bathroom I was regretting my decision and sorely missing the annoying "Welcome to Mandarin. Welcome to Mandarin. Welcome to Mandarin."

Well, you've been warned. Caveat Emptor!
