Cole was a fantastic trainer and helped us so much with our new puppy, Panda. The sessions were informational, well paced, and covered all questions/needs we had! We will eventually be pursuing more training with Sit Means Sit and have had two other dogs that were trained through them. They continue to be a reliable training service and well worth the price. :)

We had an outstanding experience with Sit Means Sit Dog Training in Frederick! Each morning we arrived for training the front desk staff made us feel welcome. Check-in was quick and organized, and the check-out process was just as smooth. Everyone was friendly, professional, and happy to answer any questions we had.

Our dog Hardy’s trainer, Alex, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain the training techniques so we could continue reinforcing them at home. It was clear that he genuinely cared about Hardy’s success and tailored the training to fit Hardy’s needs.

We were truly impressed with how much Hardy learned in such a short time. The improvement in behavior and responsiveness has been amazing, and we’re so grateful for the skills and confidence Alex helped build. We highly recommend Sit Means Sit Frederick to anyone looking for professional, effective dog training with exceptional customer service from start to finish!

Sit Means Sit was a great choice for us, and I fully recommend them.

Our AmStaff Mix Eddie had a great time and learned valuable skills. Cole, his trainer, was FANTASTIC! He has lots of experience with bully breeds and quickly established a bond with Eddie.

Now for the real challenge ... Eddie's family! Cole also did a great job explaining things to us, demonstrating the techniques, and setting us up for success.

Looking forward to taking full advantage of the group classes.

My experience with Sit Means Sit has been consistently excellent. I initially brought my first dog to them years ago, and have since enrolled two more, including my current puppy, Xander. My latest, Xander, just completed successful puppy group classes and advanced training. I was particularly fortunate to have Cole as Xander's trainer for both programs. Cole is an incredibly thorough and observant trainer, ensuring every dog receives attention. He also provides essential support to owners, offering honest guidance, free from sugar coating, was invaluable in helping me grow as a dog owner. I truly appreciated his direct and effective approach. If you're thinking about this for your pups, it's truly an investment that pays off by improving life for both your dog and for you.

We've taken Winnie to Sit Means Sit since she was 6 months old! She went through their training course, and we take her there for day camp a good bit. She's still a hyper/happy girlie but her recall, heel, and place are fantastic. We didn't LOVE the collar, but it was helpful to stay consistent with for the first year after training, and now we use it as a safety net to make sure we can get her back to us (like, if she's off leash at a friend's house).

We love Cole and the rest of the trainers here! 10/10 recommend
