This review is difficult to write, as the ambiance and service seemed lovely when we stopped in for takeout. Unfortunately, for $60, our meal was quite disappointing.
The fried rice looked and tasted more like plain rice cooked in chicken broth. The rib meat tasted old, and we weren’t comfortable finishing it. The egg rolls were soggy, though they were better with sauce. The beef and broccoli was edible but lacked flavor.
Additionally, nearly the entire meal—apart from the egg rolls—was placed in one container, which overflowed with rice and made it difficult and messy to eat.
Overall, we were hoping for a much better experience given the price. We hope this feedback is helpful, as the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and appears to have potential.

It’s been 7 years since I have ventured into a Chinese food restaurant .. it’s so hard to find a place where the food is what you expect .. classic Canadian Chinese food.. the owner was great .. the food was delicious. Don’t believe any bad reviews .. the place is clean, fabric table cloth and napkins.. service is fast and friendly. The phone rings constantly for take out. It’s a Monday night at 5 and it’s busy. Will be back here every time we’re in town. ..

Excellent service, friendly owner and healthy portions (bring your appetite)
The combo for 2 people was tasty- but a bit bland for us.
Would return to try other menu options.

My first time here and I had a combination plate with chicken balls, chicken chow mein, rice and an egg roll. All items tasted fresh and delicious. In particular the chicken balls. Hand made, all white meat in a thin crispy coating (pictured)
The restaurant was very clean, the service warm and friendly.

Service and atmosphere of the restaurant is good and the lady who took my order was nice. I commend them for that. I ordered the Beef and brocolli and it was tasty but the chicken fried rice disappointed me. I know the menu says no msg but I am not expecting that the rice was too bland its as if I am just eating a plain rice. A bit of salt in the fried rice wont hurt.
