I want to share my experience with what was formerly Ellis Orthodontics and is now operating under new management as Boiler Orthodontic Arts.
I chose this office in April 2024 because of Dr. Ellis's strong reputation, positive reviews, and the quality of care his practice was known for. I paid for my orthodontic treatment entirely out of pocket and expected a high standard of care throughout the process.

Unfortunately, after my treatment began, Dr. Ellis retired and sold the practice to Dr. Boiler. I was never informed before signing my treatment contract that my care would eventually be transferred to another orthodontist. I only learned of the change during a routine appointment. Because I specifically chose the practice based on Dr. Ellis's reputation and expertise, this was disappointing.

I requested a consultation with Dr. Boiler to discuss my treatment and concerns. During that meeting, she assured me that my treatment would continue appropriately under her care. Based on that conversation, I decided to continue treatment rather than pursue a refund.
As treatment progressed, however, I noticed a decline in both communication and overall patient experience. Toward the end of treatment, I felt increasingly pressured to have my braces removed despite repeatedly expressing concerns that my teeth were not fully aligned and that additional adjustments were needed. Rather than feeling heard, I often felt dismissed.

I also experienced treatment delays that added to my frustration. At one point, a wire that had been cut too short slipped out of place and was supposed to be corrected at a future appointment. After a scheduling error involving appointment times, I went approximately 10 weeks without a wire change or meaningful follow-up, despite typically being seen every five weeks.
My braces were ultimately removed on May 12 2026 after more than two months without active treatment.

At my final appointment, I again expressed concerns that my braces were being removed prematurely. Instead of having a productive discussion, I felt the conversation became defensive. I left feeling that my treatment ended before my concerns were adequately addressed.
I also noticed changes in office policies after the management transition, including additional fees that I had not encountered under Dr. Ellis's ownership.

One interaction that stood out occurred during my debonding appointment. (Although I had expressed dissatisfaction with my treatment outcome and concerns about the new management, I was asked whether I would leave a positive review for the practice as it worked to build its reputation following the name change.)
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with how my treatment concluded. In my experience, patient concerns were often met with defensiveness rather than accountability.

The professionalism, communication, and patient-centered care that originally attracted me to the practice no longer felt present after the change in ownership.
I believe patients deserve transparency, respectful communication, and the ability to voice concerns without feeling rushed or dismissed.

For anyone considering treatment here, I recommend researching thoroughly and obtaining multiple consultations before making a decision.
I currently have consultations scheduled with other independent orthodontists to evaluate my final results. If they determine that my treatment was not completed appropriately, I intend to bring their professional assessments back to the office and seek a resolution.
This review reflects my personal experience.
(They might respond to my review, saying that I was rude to their staff, but that’s false. I record all of my conversations with them.) Update; After consulting 4 orthodontists, 3 used intraoral 3D scans and found alignment and bite issues that still need correction. I’ll present those Orthodontics to Dr. Boiler and ask her to address them. If she declines further treatment, I’ll request a partial refund. as I paid in fully out of pocket and expected better results) I have three more ortho appointments coming up.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this orthodontic office. The receptionists are always very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Boller is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. All of the staff are very welcoming and make my son feel comfortable during every visit. They are patient in answering all of our questions and truly care about their patients.
My son’s braces were removed today, and his smile is absolutely spectacular! We are so happy with the results and grateful for the excellent care he received throughout the process. It will soon be my daughter’s turn, and I feel very confident that she will receive the same amazing care and beautiful results. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent orthodontic care!

The staff are very polite and always ask how I'm doing. I'm always comfortable during my appointments and my teeth have already moved so much in only a few months. Also their work-place is very clean and organized.

My son had braces put on here, and had them on for 18 months. We had a great experience, with Dr. Ellis and the friendly staff! They were always so nice, supportive, and always worked well with our availability for the appointments. Having braces is a journey, and I highly recommend taking it with the team at Ellis!
