Child care staff are always friendly. Everyone here is so nice. I would definitely recommend the childcare program. My kids have enjoyed attending. I recently visited Mountainside Fitness using a 5-day guest pass through my employer’s health benefits program while researching gyms to join long term. One of the main reasons I chose to tour Mountainside was because of the amenities offered, specifically the steam rooms and cold plunge options, which stood out compared to other gyms in the area.

Unfortunately, my experience upon arrival left a disappointing first impression. I arrived around 9:20 PM 5/28/2026 and the front desk associate who assisted me was noticeably unwelcoming. I was not greeted warmly, there was no smile or enthusiasm, and overall the interaction felt very dismissive. As someone who works in a professional customer facing industry myself, I understand how important first impressions and hospitality are, especially for prospective members considering a membership investment.

I still proceeded to enjoy the facility and complete my workout, and I will say the gym itself is very nice. However, when I later approached the front desk to purchase a water, I once again felt ignored and had to verbally say “excuse me” just to receive assistance.

While the facility and amenities were impressive, customer service plays a major role in my decision making when choosing where to spend my money. Because of this experience, I ultimately decided not to move forward with a membership and instead chose another gym where I felt welcomed, acknowledged, and valued as a potential customer.

I wanted to provide this feedback because I believe customer experience matters greatly, especially when employees at the front desk represent the first and last interaction members have with the company. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and used as an opportunity to improve the experience for future guests and potential members.

Hard to finish a workout in an overcrowded gym when half the cable machines are constantly broken and turn around on fixing them is weeks-months. Not to mention the trainers never replace the wipes they just look at you like “not my job” and don’t go alert whoever’s job it actually is. Most expensive gym in the valley and it runs like a crunch fitness.

But seriously my wife is pregnant and about to have the baby next month. The same cable machine has been broken from before she was pregnant. Maybe for her first birthday I’ll bring her here and show her the same broken machine that’ll be nice family bonding.

This gym has very friendly staff members, clean equipment, and wonderful customer service. Very much recomend this gym to everyone!! Especially the ladies in child care; I drop off my 6 year old daughter and she loves it there.

The gym itself is overcrowded especially after 3 but it’s nice. The kids club has some great workers that really understand kids. Kathleen, Gianna, and Makayla are great. They are always excited to see my boys and make me feel at ease when I drop them off.
