She graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Soon after, she pursued her love for helping people and science by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University. After gaining a solid foundation of experience as a bedside nurse on the medical/surgical unit and float pool at Stamford Health, she furthered her career with a Master of Science in Nursing in the family practitioner track at Fairfield University. She has had the pleasure and joy of interacting with patients and families in a range of settings all over Fairfield County. Nicole Guanco-Murphy's interests are in preventative medicine as well as management of acute and chronic illnesses from pediatrics to geriatrics. Being empathetic to the needs of the patients she encounters has been crucial in her professional experience and has allowed her to provide the best care for those she meets.
