Very friendly and kind staff, they have a small but well laid out showroom. Prices are extremely affordable and I noticed no difference between the mattresses available and those at other larger stores. Other than the logos on the tags. I ordered in a custom size mattress which only took 2 weeks to arrive! They gave me a heads up the day before the mattress arrived to let me know when they were expecting it. Overall an amazing experience! Next time you need a mattress check these guys out, it’s worth it!

I went here after looking at their pricing for mattresses on the website. I did a lot of research from different stores, and they had the absolute BEST prices in HRM!

When I walked in, I was immediately kindly treated by the owner. The first question he asked me (after a nice little small talk chat) was what my budget was. In no moment did he try to upsell anything to me. He did not even mention the options that were above my budget.

All the mattresses were at least half the price of what they would have been at a different store. I even saw one for $200 that would have been $600 anywhere else.

After spending an hour there and trying different options (the owner was really patient and did not rush me in any moment), I walked away with a fantastic mattresses that was 2.5 times cheaper that at other places.

I’ve been sleeping on it for a little over a month and it feels like it gets better everyday! On top of that, he also gave me a discounted waterproof mattress protector that is of amazing quality.

This is a fantastic local family business and definitely the place I will be recommending to anyone looking for a mattress! Great people, great prices, great quality and they even deliver if needed!

Third time purchase - first a bed frame, then back for a double mattress 9 months later. Now back again for a queen sized! We've been super satisfied each time. Friendly, helpful staff, affordable pricing, accessible from Fairview and from South End. They made it easy to pick things up in our own van, and now are making it easy to receive a delivery. We're very happy customer, would definitely recommend.

I’ve been purchasing mattresses, bed frames, and even a few smaller sectionals from Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet since 2020 for both my home and my business. I run several Airbnb units and a small motel, and over the years I’ve spent well over $20,000 furnishing rooms with their products.
Not once have I had an issue.
When I first started buying from them, the owner had a much smaller team and personally recommended their hybrid mattresses for my rental units. Since then, I’ve continued using the same mattresses across my Airbnb properties, my motel, and even in my own home.
Guest comfort is extremely important in hospitality, and the feedback I receive about the beds has been consistently great. The mattresses have held up very well even with frequent guest turnover, which says a lot about the quality.
What I also appreciate is that even as the business has grown and the team has expanded, the owner still takes the time to help and offer honest advice when needed.
In my experience, Furniture Spot & Mattress Outlet offers some of the best prices, quality, and policies in Halifax. If you’re looking for affordable Canadian-made mattresses and solid furniture, this is definitely a store worth checking out.
