Rock Pirates was the perfect outfit for our half-day (4 hour) SxS rental in Silverton. We had a family of 4-- 2 adults and 2 kids-- and they set us up in a very nice 4-seater Polaris RZR. The check-in and safety brief was quick and painless, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The route that was recommended was perfect-- fun, clean trails, beautiful scenery, and it literally took us 3 hrs and 58 minutes with a couple stops for photos, drinks, and snacks on the trail. This excursion was one of the highlights of our family trip to the Southwest, and we would absolutely do it again with Rock Pirates supplying the 4x4 machinery.

Very friendly and professional people, my first time renting a UTV was a breeze. The UTV’s are all new and well maintained, I had no issues with mine at all. They give you a brief safety talk and let you go on your way. I did the full alpine loop, some of the best views I’ve ever seen. I will definitely be back and renting from rock pirates again!

We had to switch to Silverton from Ouray due to the fire. Was looking for outdoor adventure activities. Came across Rock Pirates who were in the same street as we were staying. Spoke to the owner Eric over the phone and he was kind enough to accommodate us on such a short notice and put us in their Expedition XP5 north star SxS. We were able to do the Red Mountain experience, definitely coming back again next year to do the alpine loop and continental divide

We took a guided tour with Brandon as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the mountains and valleys. We were able to split our driving between two drivers and the trails had a mix for each of us. Great company to work with and would highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, but Chase especially went above and beyond. He gave us great recommendations that helped us make the most of our trip.

The customer service at both locations was outstanding, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Pictures simply don’t do it justice—you have to see it in person to truly appreciate it.

If you’re looking for a memorable family adventure, this is it. We brought our 5-year-old and 2-year-old, and they had an amazing time too. It’s an experience we will never forget, and one that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime!

Highly recommend you use Rock Pirates to use for all your off reading needs! We rented a OHV and drove out to Animas Forks, Cinnamon Pass and Minnie Gulch! Great views and no problems with vehicles. Every Thing about the vehicle and safety issues were explained. I would definitely recommend that you rent it for three hours or longer! We will be back and do an all day offloading trip! staff was highly professional and great!

Folks if you're wanting to do UTV rentals this is the place to go. You can tell they love their profession and they are very knowledgeable and will make sure your trail ride adventure is one you will remember. One word "AWESOME " We will be back and do this again, The wife absolutely loved it....great trails with spectacular breathtaking views...Thank you folks.
