In this position, she works within the medical setting to provide mental health therapy and consultation alongside your established primary care provider or specialist. MHI treatment is a short-term program designed to help manage mental health symptoms that affect quality of life and typically includes 3–6 visits. Patients must be referred to by a primary care provider at one of the clinics where Dr. Atkin practices. Your care team works together throughout treatment to support your needs. If additional or long-term care is needed, we can help coordinate a referral.
