It is important to me that we create a connection so you can feel safe in being vulnerable. I use my sense of humor, my own creativity, critical thinking skills, and clinical knowledge to help create that connection. I will always do my best to make you feel understood, validated, and cared for.” MaryAlma earned her Master’s in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She is also trained in modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EDMR).
