After getting married, he and his wife lived in Jacksonville, Florida, from 2017 to 2021. During their time in Jacksonville, his wife attended the University of North Florida, where she earned her doctorate in physical therapy in 2019. After graduating in 2020, the couple remained in the Jacksonville area for a year before accepting jobs back in Utah and returning home.
