He attended the University of North Dakota for both his undergraduate studies and his medical degree. After medical school, Dr. Bratteli completed a family medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. In 2004, Dr. Bratteli moved to the Grand Junction/Fruita, Colorado area. He provided family medicine services including both outpatient practice, as well as OB and inpatient hospital care the first 10 years of his career, eventually transitioning to outpatient-only care. He then spent two years working in urgent care before deciding to explore other opportunities, leading him to a position in outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medicine at St. Mary's Hospital.“I strive to listen to my patients, help them understand and guide them through their medical treatment all while treating them with dignity.”Dr. Bratteli and his wife (also a doctor) have two teenage children and three dogs.
