Originally from St. Simons Island, Georgia, Emmy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Georgia Regents University. She went on to pursue advanced training through a postgraduate fellowship in advanced and critical care cardiology at Piedmont Health Institute in Atlanta, where she gained specialized experience managing complex cardiac conditions in high-acuity settings. Throughout her career, Emmy has remained dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with heart disease through evidence-based care, education, and continuity of treatment. She is especially passionate about preventive cardiology, heart failure management, and supporting patients and their families throughout critical care journeys.
