Following residency, she completed her infectious disease training and a Master’s in Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPHTM) at Tulane University. Given her interest in under-resourced populations and tropical medicine, she completed an additional fellowship training program at the University of Washington in Global & Rural Health, which took her to Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and Koidu, Sierra Leone (West Africa).
