He went on to complete his residency at Saint Joseph Hospital and a fellowship in Palliative Care with Capital Hospice in Falls Church, Virginia. As a hospice and palliative care medicine provider, Dr. Manuel has a deep clinical focus on managing complex cancer pain and supporting patients and their families as they navigate serious illness. He is passionate about helping individuals understand their diagnoses and treatment options, guiding them through complex medical decisions with clarity, empathy, and respect. “I enjoy caring for people who feel that the medical system does not understand them or that their individual goals and values have not been heard and supported.
