Her special interests in trauma, addiction, and integrated care lead to a fellowship at St. Mary’s in conjunction with the University of Colorado School of Medicine and an advanced specialization in Medical Family Therapy.Ms. Stephen Premo works on a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant researching and training health professionals on screening, brief, intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT). She is a national presenter on this and other research. She currently acts as the Behavioral Health Coordinator of St. Mary’s Integrated Addiction Medicine Clinic. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, trained in EMDR.
