Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Vitkus received his training at Northwestern University, Stanford University, and Case Western Reserve University. He began his career as a professor of psychology at Barnard College in New York City before re-specializing in clinical psychology. Dr. Vitkus came to Salt Lake City when his wife, Lisa, was hired at Primary Children's Hospital, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer for Service Lines.
