Recently stopped by to start a membership once my old salon closed. The lady was super nice and helpful with plenty of knowledge about their products. I didnt feel pushed to buy anything I didn't need and she didn't make me feel like I was just a sale. Thank you!

I have been a member at Palm Beach for 10 years. My membership was cancelled without warning. I got a new debit card and forgot to update the cards with palm beach (this was my fault). So I updated the card, the lady at the counter assisting was very nice but it took her several tries and me repeating numbers to her several times to update the card. A month later when I went to tan, they informed me that the funds were not drawn from my card, which I thought was strange but paid with the card I had on me that day. Then last week I went in, was told yet again the funds weren’t pulled from my card and that since it was the 3rd time my membership was terminated. When talking with my bank, they told me that she actually didn’t see any attempted transactions from Palm Beach since prior to getting a new card. So due to an error in their system my membership was cancelled. I am able to make a “new” account there and sign up for palm beach again, but I actually started going to Planet Fitness for a much better price, better tanning beds with cozier more relaxing rooms, better red light therapy beds, plus the perks of massage chairs, hydrotherapy beds, among other things. Definitely the better option even if you pay the $26 a month just to tan in a much better tanning bed.

I have been tanning with palm beach tan for YEARS! Multiple states multiple locations, I have never had an issue with ANY worker. The workers at the crestview location don’t even ask me my name because I come so often, I do the same thing everytime, everyone’s so nice! Everytime! But recently there has been a new girl, Emily, she rolls her eyes when I walk in, doesn’t greet me, has no joy in her voice like she hates her life, which I’m sorry but I didn’t do it! EVERYTIME I come in when she’s working she has an issue with me. The WORST. Customer service attitude I have ever experienced ANYWHERE. The lady at Taco Bell was 1,000x nice than her, I pay for the top membership and and to get treated like I’m less than, or being judged, or whatever her problem is, is absolutely unexceptionable. And now it’s making it where I don’t even feel comfortable coming to the salon I’ve been coming to for years because of her because it is going to escalate. Not only with me but my service dog in training got out of the room last time, and instead of shutting my bed off and letting me know, she waited until I got out frantically looking for him and started belittling me and putting me down in front of other customers! She is discriminating against me for whatever her own personal reasons may be but it is absolutely unacceptable and I am very unpleased. I also want the footage of when my service dog got out of my room because acted very skittish after that moment and if she put her hands on him that is a felony and I will be pressing charges.
