Our hotel guest services recommended this place as a must do for travelers if you only have a short amount of time visiting. Did dinner here. The drinks were super. The food was delicious. The price for the quality was reasonable. The atmosphere had good vines. Even the bathroom was super cool and different. Would definitely return here, seems like a great place to go on a date. I might add that there so many good looking business professionals the night I went, great eye candy.

One of my favorite italian restaurants downtown. Their pizza and pasta dishes are all amazing. I love the mangia white pizza and the seafood pasta is to die for. Great ambiance and the service is always great and the staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is a great choice for pre-theatre dinner, as its location is just a few steps from the Mirvish. We had been to Terroni's a few years ago for a family pre-wedding meal, so knew the food was good, and we weren't disappointed. It has a lively atmosphere, and while the noise level rises as it gets later, hearing was not a problem. I had the Butternut Squash and Carrot Soup, along with the Ravioli with Burrata, Tomatoes and Parmesan, and both were tasty. I then had the Affogatto for dessert, which was excellent, as this one also had chocolate added. We'll definitely try this restaurant again when we are back in Toronto for theatre.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Toronto, this is always a solid choice.

We started with the Giuggiolosa salad, which was fresh. The Tonnarelli alla Norcina was outstanding. Every bite tasted like authentic Italy.

The Capricciosa pizza was another highlight. The crust had the perfect Neapolitan texture, light, airy, and beautifully blistered. The toppings were generous, fresh, and every ingredient stood out.

We also paired everything with a glass of 2024 Poggio Vicchio Sangiovese Romagna DOC, and it complemented the meal perfectly.

A special thank you to Asacia, our server. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and gave us excellent recommendations throughout the meal. Her service made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back. Terroni continues to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Toronto.

Hadn’t been back in a decade, my Chinese ex’s favorite go-to. Lovely staff, grand old classic interior and enclosed patio, was a historic courthouse. Calamari and pizzas were simply divine. Two of the pastas were superb, one with seafood no seasoning, tasteless, smelled off, returned it. What they do well they do very well indeed! I need to come back here more often! Highly recommended!

We decided to visit Terroni for a quick lunch, this was our second time there. We made a reservation and were seated right away. The staff were amazing! The grilled calamari was absolutely delicious. The cheese ravioli wasn’t my favorite, but our server explained it very well, so I knew I was trying something outside my comfort zone. If you enjoy hard cheeses, it’s definitely a dish worth trying!

I wish I could say I enjoyed Terroni more. The venue itself was not held in the main restaurant. The company I work at booked out some of the upper floors for an event. There were four flights of stairs to get up to the first floor with the bar and main dining area. There was another two flights of stairs to get to the upper bar (which I was too tired to walk up to). The drinks at the bar were good and the staff were all great. We started with passed apps. Some of the flavour combinations were just off (the skewer with fruit, cheese and something else) - like they paired the wrong cheese with the fruit. The meal itself was a seat down meal (family style) which did take over two hours to complete for the amount of guests that were present (over 200 ppl).

My favorite dish was the tomato and mozza salad. My most disappointed dish was the ragu pasta. Though containing a good amount of meat it was not saucy at all. The pizza was the brocolini was good as well.

The reason I gave this restaurant three stars is strictly for the lack of elevator and the food quality vs the price. For what you are paying, there is so much higher quality food in the city and I honestly think you can get better bang for buck elsewhere.

Its ok. Had to wait around at 4pm for about 20 minutes mid week with a reservation for 8 upstairs in the large dining room which was empty.

Menu is mostly in Italian. No draught beer so you will need to order bottled. Approx 8 dollars per bottle. The fried calamari appetizer was good but for 24 dollars a little overpriced. Also got the charcuterie board for 30 dollars again very overpriced for what you get. For main had pizza affitiscuita, a spictly salami pizza for 25 dollars, was ok to split between two people but was fairly thin crust so thankfully we ordered two appetizers otherwise each person needs their own pizza. Finished with tiramisu for desert which was fairly normal.

Overall the flavours are all great, but the portions for the price were surprising. Serivice is ok. Had to wave down the server several times for more water as the food is fairly salty and the water glasses very small.

This place is tired and running on fumes. It used to be good, but the service is indifferent, the food is mediocre at best, the ambiance is loud with people packed tightly together and music piped over it all. And the music is an odd mix of pop; not one Italian song. Go someplace else.

Had a nice lunch at Terroni. The building and design is pleasing to the eye, but they pack so many tables in there that you are practically sitting on one another. It also makes for a very noisy dining room.

Food was fine. If you order the prosciutto, its literally just a plate of sliced meat. No charcuterie set up, no presentation whatsoever, which I thought was a tad clunky.

Pizza was good though.

I had the seabass, which was tasty but ODDLY paired with chickpeas in tomato sauce... like what? Why? It was a terrible side dish. Why not just plain rice? Clearly just a can of chickpeas covered in red sauce. Not much flavour. Thankfully the seabass was the real star.

I'd like to try some of the other mains next time, like as the porkchop.

I stopped by while looking for a great Italian spot in Toronto, and the calamari truly exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly fried crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of fresh ocean flavour. Served with a slice of lemon and a delicious dipping sauce, it made the whole dish even more enjoyable. Throughout the meal, both the atmosphere and the service were excellent; in a warm and lively setting, I had a genuinely high-quality start to my dining experience.

Had an early Sunday dinner at Terroni Adelaide before a concert at Massey Hall and it was a great pre-show spot. The restaurant is set inside a former 1852 courthouse, with soaring ceilings and a beautiful atrium. Even the washrooms are downstairs in old jail cells, which is a fun little surprise.

We shared the Calamari alla Griglia to start, fresh and nicely balanced. My date had the Spaghetti in Canna a Mare. It was labelled mildly spicy but definitely had some heat, though the flavours were great. I ordered the Ravioli al Brasato, which was delicious but the portion was on the smaller side. I could have eaten a few more ravioli and been perfectly happy.

We finished with tiramisu, plus an amaro for me and zambuca for my date. Service was friendly, though drinks were a bit slow coming out. The place filled up quickly but never felt chaotic.

Beautiful space, solid Italian food, and a great option downtown, especially before a show.

Dinner for 13 was easily accommodated by pleasant and professional servers. Food was really excellent, prices were reasonable, atmosphere in a historic building was gorgeous, and not too loud. I wish I could give 6 stars.
