I’ve rented from here many times over the past few years. Their bigger equipment like skid steers are generally in good shape and clean. However, their smaller equipment has often left me stranded, for example the auger in these photos wouldn’t even start a hole in soft ground. As someone who rents equipment frequently, their customer service has left me feeling like they don’t care.

I come in to get an estimate on a piece of equipment and the lady behind the counter was rude to me and another gentleman man that worked there. She made nasty remarks about how he has been here for a month and she’s been there for 4 years. I Had asked a question and she even said she didn’t know they were different ones. I said there are for different ones for different textures. She really needs to know how to talk to people. The gentleman didn’t get upset. He seems like a nice guy and knows what he’s talking about. She needs to learn how to talk to people.

Allen Rental is a great option for renting equipment. They are a good local rental shop. They had what we needed at a fair price. The equipment was a quality machine that was easy to use. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. The lady working had great customer service and was very friendly. She made the correct recommendations based on our needs, by asking the right questions. The equipment was clean and we had no issues. We will be back to rent more equipment the next time we have a project and don't own the equipment needed.
