Wow, what a transformation of my garage floor! Sal arrived on time to provide an estimate, I found it to be honest and fair; he is very knowledgeable.
Unlike other companies that provide a one- day process, Garage Floor Coatings of Rochester, NY took 2 days because they use a superior product that outlasts the standard product by far. Since it’s a 2-day coating, they were able to give me a full warranty against water related issues.
Before laying down the epoxy, Sal and Ryan had to repair my concrete floor. There were some significant cracks and some pitting. Without their repair to my concrete garage floor, it’s evident that over time, my concrete floor was going to get worse and the repair would have been very costly. Essentially, they saved my floor.
I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and although pictures don’t do it justice, I have included one.

Our 60+ year old garage needed a refresh. Having a "polyaspartic" epoxy-type coating installed was a smart move for the garage floor. After getting 3 quotes for the garage floor refresh, I chose The Garage Floor Coatings Rochester. The sales rep "Sal" along with Ryan were the two installers. Their 2-day effort produced a fabulous new garage floor surface! The office boss, Teresa, was efficient and responsive in scheduling the work.

For my part, preparation for the floor resurfacing was a demanding physical effort -due to years of stored accumulation that first needed to be cleared. I began by removing and cleaning two 10'x22' vinyl "G-Floor" garage mats, boxing up and moving stored items, and taking out the racks, a refrigerator, and a cabinet. Then I painted the stucco walls with 4 gallons of mixed leftover paint.

All in all, the garage refresh has been a worthwhile project. At this point, the $4500 polyaspartic floor seems remarkably beautiful, strong, and durable.

Sal and Paige completed the garage epoxy floor last week, and I’m very happy with the results of their hard work—plus, it looks sick! There was a lot of prep involved, and they did an excellent job with the installation.

Sal also handled the estimate and was very knowledgeable in addressing my concerns about the differences between single-day and two-day installations, as well as the maintenance of the new coating. I strongly recommend this team.
